I’ve dealt with Connie at Penticton Appliance many times over the years and have always found them to be very friendly and helpful. When our old freezer fan stopped working, they gave us several repair and replacement options. With the information they gave us, we decided to just replace the old freezer because fixing it wasn’t going to be much cheaper. Not only did they deliver the new unit as scheduled, but they removed and disposed of the old freezer for free! I would have no problem recommending them to friends and family.

My wife and I were looking for a central vacuum and were so disappointed by the service at this store. The first person we spoke to said we needed to speak with someone else. The person who came to speak with us was so distracted and uninterested, it was shocking. He spent 5 minutes casually flipping through a manual without speaking with us. When he found what he was looking for, he showed us a little black and white picture of the wrong product. We asked if we could see the actual product and he begrudgingly went looking for one in the back. When he brought out a completely different kit than what we wanted to see, he set it down with no intention of looking further for the one we were requesting to see (with a power head). He said we'd have to speak with someone else. Meanwhile, the salesperson who supposedly knew more about central vacuums, spent half an hour with another customer while we waited for him (at least she got good service). After 30 minutes in the store, my wife and I left and went to a competing box store where they provided excellent service and we purchased our central vacuum. It turned out well for us as we're happy with our box store purchase, but we really wanted better quality and were hoping to see the one Penticton Appliance Sales carried. Not only did they miss out on a central vacuum sale, but with service like that, my wife and I both agreed that we'd not look here for a couple of major appliances that we'll be in need of before too long.

Called for service on our fridge on a saturday - tech at our house on monday- quickly diagnosed- came back wednesday and installed! Norm was our tech and he was absolutely excellent- would highly recommend!

I've ordered well over 30 parts for appliances from this business and have always had great service in a timely manner. I've also purchased a couple appliances here and I have to say that I've been very satisfied with the quality and support from this family run business.
