Safeway Penticton

Chinese food taste awful, food is warm, bordering on cold. No ginger beef; were told to get it cold from the deli. Chicken greasy & taste old. Food trays half empty. Used to be our go to place for excellent Chinese food. Will not be going back. Complete disgusting.

Good deals, never too busy. Helpful staff. The health food selection is very minimal. Lots of brands and items they don’t carry. The produce is okay. Overall I wish I lived closer to a different grocery store.

prices are outrageous for a lot of things (unless on sale. $1.50 regular price difference to save-on, on identical yogurt!!), but their newish in-store prepped produce and salads can be surprisingly worthwhile, depending what you get; also enjoy their store-made pizzas and flatbread. oh and their donuts are the absolute best - especially cos you can get ½ dozen great donuts here for the price of a single one at some other local places....

The cashier at Safeway was very nice. Let me use a save on card. I'm from Nashville Tennessee. Place was very clean. I'll be back

I've shopped here for years, and have never had an issue with anything. The staff has always been super helpful. Its not a huge store, so you can always find someone to help very quickly. The prices are not the best in town, but they are still competitive. Also located in a plaza, so you have a pharmacy, cell phone shop, dollar store, post office, pub, eye doctor, dentist, Wendys and a whole bunch of other business in the same place.
