Pelicana Chicken

The snowy Chicken and onion rings were amazing. Had no idea what to expect but the description sounded great so we tried. We will be having it again, the semi spicy chicken was not too spicy with great flavor. We also had the deep fried cheese sticks . We left with enough food for the next day. Great value and the staff were nice and eager to answer our questions,

Got three different flavors of boneless chicken. The rice cake mixed with the chicken is a nice touch! The flavor wasn’t very heavy, and seemed to taste like healthier than other Korean fried chicken places. Friendly and efficient staff.

Pleasantly surprised by this Korean fried chicken!! One detail I liked most about this restaurant is ability to choose 2 seasoned flavours for the half and half option instead of original + seasoned as my friend and I both don’t really enjoy original Korean fried chicken. Cost us about $20 per person. I enjoyed the Soy flavour a lot. The cheese flavour was okay too, but I preferred the soy. Boneless option is great if you like dark meat! Chicken was fresh, crispy and seasoned well. Comes with pickled radish and a cold corn salad. Cravings satisfied! Parking: Plaza parking

My new favorite spot! The breading on the chicken is thinner than the traditional dredging, and ultraaaa crispy. The chicken is super juicy and flavorful. My favorite was the snow chicken. If you don't want to share with your girlfriend, order the hot and spicy . They don't play around with spice here. Really impressed with this place.

Lougheed is filled with Korean fried chicken options and this place shouldn’t be missed! The owner is very nice and was social towards us and other customers. As for the food, i have never tried snow cheese onion rings before and I think they are a must try. The yangyeom was crispy with a stronger garlic flavour which is nice. Will be coming back to try more flavours.

Epitome of Korean chicken place. Good old school style Korean chicken, especially their original fried chicken. Their spicy ones are really good too. Beer price is decent too so don’t be shy to go to this place for Chi-Mek experience. A really good place to get korean fried chicken. The staff are really friendly in the restaurant and were very polite with us the entire time. We got a kimchi fried rice and two kinds of fried chicken, the staff recommended the best tasting ones to us and they were not lying. The rice was really satisfying and the chicken was really delicious as well. 10/10 would recommend coming to pelicana! Get the snowing cheese chicken, the cheese makes the chicken taste even better!

First time trying Pelicana Chicken, a new comer to the Korean fried chicken scene. Ordered the half & half fried chicken and the snowing cheese fries. The half & half only comes in 2 set flavors - original fried and original marinated which is slightly spicier & sweet. Was pleasantly surprised to find that they have all day Happy Hour prices - $1 off appies and drink specials. The snowing cheese fries have powdered Camembert over them, not bad. These type of fries seem to be a staple at all kfc restos. My only complaint was that the original marinated chicken was luke warm, almost cold. The original was warmer, but neither were hot temperature. The fries were piping hot. I’m guessing that as part of the dinner rush the restaurant had prepped a lot of fried chicken in preparation for orders and ours had been out for awhile. It did come out before the fries. Other than all else was great - friendly servers, a nice little place to grab a bite and have a beverage. Will return!

Great service!!!! The Korean chicken flavors were very unique!!! We like unique flavors. The bone in was a bit boney. Their homemade local chestnut makgeolli was excellentttFood: 4/5
