Ist time for me, hubby brought me there for dinner. Good place, run by a family. Covid safety: it is seating booth separated by a plexiglass. The menu is on the wall, the menu has photo of each dish with description in English. Menu is quite extensive. Place is small but you still feel safe with the plexiglass. We ordered the seafood pancake, we do not like green onions so they were kind enough to sub for mushrooms. The seafood pancake was good. Almost every table orders the pancake. The pancake is good, crispy on the outside with decent amount of seafood inside. We order the cold spicy noodle with skate, & my fav So Doo Boo tofu with egg & your choice of meat, I had mine with beef & had it spicy. The broth was very flavourful, they did not skim on the heat usually they do that especially of you are non-Korean. Very nicely done, hubby loved the cold spicy noodle. It comes with 4 side dishes. Do check it out if you haven’t done so. Parking is abit challenging. By all worth it!
Jong Ga, a delicate Korean eatery seemingly run by a female owner with a female kitchen helper, offers tasty Korean noodles in soup, rice in stone hot pot, and gourmet Korean cuisines. It’s a good place to start exploring Korean food culture with free refillable small side dishes of Kimchi, cucumber, sprouts, and sweet potato.
I used to come here frequently when I lived around here and coming back here recently has made me nostalgic. Service has and always is fast, plus free refills for their delicious side dishes? Ohhh yeah! Food was delicious as always too! Jong Ga has a special spot in my heart and I’m glad it’s still going strong after quite a few years of business!
Love this place! Favourite place to get their NaengMyun and Kalbi combo! Super delicious and big portion. Their pricing is good too. I have always had a positive experience here with the staff. I have only had the NaengMyun + Kalbi here so I can't speak for anything else.
The place is always busy so the service can be slow. Food and price are good.
Delicious home style Korean food. Will definitely come again!
Good taste I can feel korea because of old lady server she was nice and kind Feeling like eating at home
Nice Korean restaurant with authentic tofu soup, bibimbap, etc. Small and cozy.
Home flavours! Great portions and the side dishes were so delicious!
I had their makguksu which was 12 dollars and tasted really good. Id be happy to pay more, so i gave them a bigger tip.
