A new gem in Korea Town. Wasn’t sure if I’d like grilled chicken but thought I’d give it a try anyways and I was so glad I did. Maybe it was cuz I went in with no expectations but it was super delicious. They have quite few flavours on the menu so I’m definitely going back a few more times before I decide what’s my favourite.Recommended dishesRose BBQ, Soy Garlic, Secret Sauce
It’s excellent! Really new chicken meal: The chicken here is soft and moist. You can order many different type of spicy. Right now, they are having an event for dine in. Free one topping or free pop for one chicken meal order. The service of the servers is also great. They have an effortless kindness. In addition, it has a great restaurant atmosphere at good prices that cannot be compared to other fried chicken restaurants.
We ordered the Regular non-spicy Secret BBQ chicken and added udon. It also came with a choice of white rice and cajun rice. We ordered the Spicy Rice Cake as well. The chicken very juicy and the udon soaked up the flavourful sauce. The cajun rice tasted like instant rice. The spicy rice cakes tasted similar to a Chinese mala type of spicy rather than a Korean gochugang type of spicy, which was unexpected but still good.
My friends and I went to the restaurant for dinner yesterday. We had a good experience with the owner and staff as well. Very friendly and great with providing some suggestions since this was my first time at the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes and will be back to try others. I highly recommend this restaurant. Food: 5/5
When I walked in they said I can only order original chicken since they were sold out but for some reason they said I can only order hot bbq without explaining. I ordered udon with the chicken and it did not come with the chicken, so I asked where the udon was and the server asked me if it’s ok to give the udon on the side with no apologies. I ordered cajun rice and I got regular rice. Food was alright but the service was not that great. I don’t usually write bad reviews but you should really work on your quality of service.
I was there yesterday and had a original bbq spicy and honey garlic fries. oh my God it was really good the bbq chicken was melting in my mouth and so tasty just keep thinking about it and will come with my fellas thank you for your awesome service!!!Food: 5/5
We drove all the way from Richmond after hearing about this place. Oh man, it hit the perfect spot! I highly recommend everyone to go dine and hang out, because this place opens late. So it’s great to enjoy the grilled BBQ chicken with some of the soju or BEER!! I liked the secret sauce and I recommended spicy, the waitress it is 8/10 spicy but its maybe 6/10 spicy. So don’t be afraid. We also upgrade the Cajun spiced rice which comes with the chicken to a risotto. DON’T upgrade! Just order ONE because You need the rice to go with the secret sauce too:
There was a waitlist around dinner time but we didn’t wait that long. Maybe 15 minutes. The level of spice was too much for me. I think if I ordered the non-spicy instead I could have enjoyed eating especially since the chicken was juicy and tender. The cajun rice was so-so The fries were good and very filling.
We decided to visit this new chicken joint on a whim because I liked the name. "Oo la la" is accurate - the chicken and side dishes were priced fairly and were very tasty. The extra hot BBQ chicken and rice cakes! were piping hot while still providing enjoyable flavors. We look forward to trying other menu items in the future. Thanks!
It’s a traditional Korean style chicken place that specializes in spicy barbecue chickens. We got some beers and soju to go along with the spicy chicken which can be pretty hot so exercise caution.
