Story

Revival House is a new food, drink and events venue for parties of 2, 20 or 200, in the historic McKenzie Memorial Gospel Church at 70 Brunswick Street in downtown Stratford, Ontario. In January 2015, Rob and Candice Wigan bought The Church restaurant and The Belfry lounge, which they have reinvented with an amazing team and re-launched as Revival House in July 2015.

Gorgeous atmosphere, great service. My boyfriend and I came here for brunch and it did not disappoint! Just the right amount of food, and it was delicious and great quality. We will definitely be back!

Had steak and fries, steak was cooked perfectly. Needed a vegetable and separation of fries as they were soggy. Atmosphere was great, service wonderful.

Food was quick and delicious. It being a more upscale place I would have expected the waitresses to give up their tattoos. It kind of downplayed the upscale atmosphere they are trying to exhibit. In and out in 1.5 hrs without feeling rushed. Duck confit was a bit crunchy (too fatty). Salmon we should have stuck with the chef's suggestion of more rare. Dessert trio was just enough. Loved the truffles.

Attended a concert here in early November. Our visit involved drinks upstairs and then an upgraded seating arrangement for the concert. Enjoyed a great cheese board during the concert. Very nice people and a great venue for intimate concerts presented by local musician and impresario, Stringbone.

Went to see Barbara Fulton sing at a jazz concert.  Band was great!  The venue was different.  We were seated at the bar which one of the best views (and not too close to the speakers like some of the tables were).  Well stocked bar (they even had 40 Creek rye).  Unique venue.  Not inexpensive though!
