Party City

I bought a bunch of items from Party City for a birthday, and honestly the experience was terrible. Everything is way overpriced for what you actually get. The products feel cheap, flimsy, and definitely not worth the cost.nnOn top of that, the packaging is really misleading. A lot of the items show things on the front that aren’t actually included, with the real details buried in tiny fine print. It feels intentionally deceptive.nnOverall, I would never buy from Party City again and strongly recommend others avoid it as well. Save your money and shop anywhere else.

This review is specifically for the Finch location where head office is located. Garbage service all around. Calling customer service the one and only employee who works there he canceled my online order last week October 31st. Today is November 6th 2025 and the store that's right beside head office has still not processed my return. I called this morning at 9:00 to head office and he's like well there's nothing I can do everything to get rude with me after I got frustrated with him and he hung up the phone on me. All because I was trying to find out why it takes 7 days to process an order that can be done in less than an hour. He had no answer for me and proceeded to hang up when I called back he held the line but didn't say anything. Head office is incompetent all of your store fronts are incompetent you guys should just close down already your lucky Canadian Tire saved your ass.

I have been coming to this location here and there since I was a kid, but after what I witnessed yesterday, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.nnAll was fine, found cheap products and enjoyed our little shopping spree until checkout time. There were a couple girls filling balloons, one of them came to check out another customer before me and the other cashier seemed annoyed to have to pull her attention away from what she was doing. We cashed out fine. I realized I forgot to get something, so I had to be cashed out again. The willing cashier entered my product into the POS, but needed authorization. She called over the employee so she could authorize the price change and then proceeded to say that “her privileges were taken away because she messed up and misspriced something.” The poor girl looked so embarrassed and confused. This was literally her first time finding this out and the lady telling her was so condescending about it. You need better training at this store because the way she treated that cashier INFRONT OF CUSTOMERS was disgusting and I would not have stood for that if I was in her position. I felt horrible witnessing that and I can only imagine how that made the poor girl feel

There seem to be a lot of empty shelves. Stock is not being replaced, possibly a Covid fallout. While that may be the reason, truth is it's no fun shopping when you can't find what you want. Similarly they had a silver ballon shortage the last time I came in to buy balloon bouquets. Happened twice. No common balloons at Party City?? Not fair, not nice. Party City, do something about it.
