Park Plaza Motel

We had breakfast. It was excellent. There is a group that goes regularly a few days a week, and I go with them a couple of times a month. Always excellent.

Bedding and linens were clean, reception staff was friendly and helpful but some of the furniture was so disgusting it put me right off (and I have stayed in budget hotels all over the world) and the tap broke the first time I tried to use it. Place is in an industrial area but little effort has been made to make it stand out from its surroundings. It would not take a lot of money to replace the disgusting furniture and try to make the place look more attractive.

I performed a wedding at the Park Plaza Motel and the staff were more than accommodating for this unusual situation. They moved furnature, changed lighting and supplied some items for decorative purposes. I was more than pleased with their help.

I gave this four stars as a sub $100 motel in Saint John. We're not comparing this place to a big chain hotel. With that out of the way. The staff are friendly and make an effort to ensure that guests and their belongings are safe. The buildings have seen better days and flipping a switch can make my room's CRT TV turn off. But the bed is comfortable, the towels are clean. It's close to restaurants and other amenities and has a bar and restaurant on site. If you know what you're looking and what you're looking for is an affordable place to spend a night while traveling through Saint John, then I would recommend Park Plaza.

Park plaza is a cheap motel. Prices are great but also reflect the room. The peopls at the desk are very nice, they allow cats however the rooms are dingy and I had a non smoking room that smelt like smoke. All in all you get what you pay for and I have no complaints
