Chipman Hill Suites is located in central (we call it Uptown) Saint John in the beautiful Canadian province of New Brunswick and all buildings are within walking distance of the Uptown amenities and entertainment venues. All suites are fully furnished, have cooking facilities, cable tv, free wireless internet and private bathrooms (often with airtubs). Pets are welcome in some suites. Check out our website to get a taste of what it would be like to stay in one our magnificent buildings. It's more affordable than you think and you can be sure we will find something perfect for you, whether it's for one night or long term.

We had an emergency trip to St John NB and Chipman Hill at 76 Union Street in St John NB was so accommodating for 3 couples from Nova Scotia ---family. We couldn't have found a finer accommodation for a short stay . The two ladies making sure we were personally looked after---Josie and Amanda---were kind and helpful. This Victorian style building was so awesome in that although it is modernized for a short or longer stay , the era of the time was beautifully maintained . Thanks!!!!

The room was very suitable for my short stay. Their vast number of available suites and locations made planning my visit very easy, and the unhosted nature of the hotel made checking in/out very easy. I would definitely use Chipman Hill Suites again in the future.

The maid service is fantastic and they always do a great job. Being near my work is a huge plus, the uptown location is very convenient. Can be a bit noisy sometimes which is the only reason there are 4 stars. I am in room 2 facing the street and the city has done work outside my window up until 230am sometimes. Makes it difficult to sleep. Overall though a fantastic place to stay if youre here for business

My favorite place to stay in Saint John - beautiful, comfortable, and spacious rooms. The historic buildings make it seem very special and the furthest thing from a cookie cutter hotel room. Convenient location; the building was within walking distance to everything we needed. The staff was very friendly.
