How is this place so highly rated? No offence but it’s a legit question. Guys follow your instinct if the place smells like cigarettes or musky turn around and leave. Honestly I gave them a chance ordered many items but they all lacked flavour and taste..I don’t want to see what their kitchen looks like. Hope they can clean up renovate and serve better food but will not be back.

Very good food, I'll admit not as flavorful as some other hakka places, but it's always fresh with good quality ingredients. Definitely a step above similar restaurants in the area. The portions are generous for the money, and service is always pleasant.

After about 5 months buying lunch there. I found a stick in my chow mein. Next time I went and ordered food I gave it to the lady at the counter. And she thought I was looking for a free meal? Then she said I don't know who's working that day. I told her to show the stick to the manager and she started laughing. So I said to her what is so funny I could have died choking on your stick. It wasn't so bad that I found something in the food, everybody makes mistakes. But their reaction to me showing them the stick was disgraceful. I literally saw the cook in the back spit in the pan that was on the stove. The guy at the cashier opened the swinging door and I saw the cook lean over and spit into the pan. Are they spit cleaning the pans or do they spit in the food? I don't know what to think? Either way 1st and last will I be going to that restaurant. Unfortunately, had to throw the food away....food smelled good though :

They provide an ample amount of food with a reasonable price. The taste always lived up to my expectations. For me, panda wok is the best restaurant in the birchmount& Denforth area.

I am a customer of this restaurant since March 2018, had dined in and took out many many times. Their decoration is not attractive but the food is good no doubt. Day before yesterday i went with my family to dine in. Ordered 3 items. Table was empty, after 10-15 mins there came some small disposable plates with disposable forks-spoon. After asking for a jug of water and glasses the Chinese middle aged lady told me many unexpected things, what i understood in a nut shell was - she is the only person takes care of this and that, this place is mostly for takeouts and if i call her and ask for something i should pay her tips. I don't know what happened in between her and the previous customer before me, but she took the frustration upon me. I said i'm a customer since 2018 and another young lady Juliana knows me quite well. She said "i didn't see you in 3 months" I said "you don't need to know me to behave properly". I usually pay tips whatever i can wherever i dine in, but this lady kinda pressure me to get my assurance to give her tips before serving water to my table. My family didn't want to spend a single moment there and we left cancelling our order. I won't be going there again for sure.

Probably best food around the area, such a hidden gem and would definitely recommend going here for lunch after school, takeout for the family and for servings for parties.

Their chili chicken is pretty good… sometimes the quantity is less but it’s very rare… overall it’s a very good place for hakka… it’s also halal

We love this place!! This is probably the only place our family goes to for Hakka Chinese hands down one of the best place! Their Bombay chicken and Chilli chicken are something you can never go wrong about! Super nice staff and quick service. We recently got their food for our daughters birthday party, they were really friendly and accommodating everything! Price is super reasonable and food is amazing! Try it out if you’re in the area

The chili chicken lunch special is a decent value if you want an affordable meal, however it's not the best Hakka you can have. Flavour is very generic, quality of chicken meat could be better. You'll feel bloated after that's for sure.
