Frederick Restaurant opened in 1990 in Scarborough. There is a second location and it is located in Markham. This restaurant specializes in Hakka cuisine which is a combination of Chinese and Indian food. They recently updated their website. Their online menus do not list their current prices. You can call for pricing or check out any recent Google review photos of their menus. If you do takeout and spend $15 before taxes, you can get a 10% discount. Call ahead for your take out order, and they will give you a pickup number. Stir fried Beef with Green Peppers and Black Bean sauce. It comes with a bowl of white rice. They offer 2 types of hot sauces. I prefer the sauce with the green chillies because it’s milder than the red sauce. There is limited parking at the front, so drive carefully to the back of the building for more parking space. This restaurant is beside a TD bank, if you need a quick access to cash.

I am still reeling from the shock of dining here. Frederick’s came highly recommended and we were so excited to visit but the food was a big disappointment. The worst was that the restaurant was flies-ridden pls look at the last pic of the fly on our food. This restaurant is definitely on my ‘DO NOT GO HERE’ list!

Amazing customer service! The folks here take care of you and everything on the menu is delicious you really can't go wrong. We had the fish pakora and chop suey. One of my favorite Hakka restaurants in Toronto.

Delicious Hakka cuisine! We had Beef with Bamboo Shoots & Black Mushrooms, Manchurian vegetables pakora style, Mango chicken, and Singapore mixed rice noodles. So good and so excellently priced! Fast service and humongous portions!

If you love indo chinese its better not try this place. Food is blanc no flavour at all but service and ambience is great. Lookwise everything looks appetiting , taste wise kindly add some spices please. Little bit salt and chilli flakes will make food edible. Pocket friendly, Clean restraunt. Improve the taste and flavour will pull in more crowd.

The chicken pakoras are great. The fried rice was mushy like it was over cooked. The chili chicken was just ok. I'm used it it being bigger and less saucy.

Delicious food! Truly wonderful and unique flavours. Nice big portions and food is quick to arrive to the table.

Excellent food & service. Chicken pakoras are our all time favourite. Vegetarian options: Their vegetable spring rolls and pakoras are really good.

Website mentioned that dine in open, when reached there It was closed only take out. So ordered and brought food home. Fish Pakora was the best among other items ordered Chilli chicken is not the same as before as taste is changed for some reason. Price and quantity of food is still good.

Service was ok, ordered by phone and didn't wait more then 15 minutes. I had the chilli Chicken, it was ok. This was my first time trying hakka food. So far, very similar to straight Chinese cuisine. I will have to leave my opinion for later when I've had more chances to try Hakka restaurants. I noticed that panda delivery services this establishment, could be that the traveling elusive panda could visit.
