Tim Choi Chinese Food

Ordered two of these, which are the combination plates "C2". Placed the order over the phone, and the lady was pleasant that answered the phone. Delivery driver was also pleasant. My order was delivered to me hot, fast and fresh. - Rice was very tasty, not too dry, or oily. It was flavored well. - Chicken balls were delicious, has a nice crispy exterior, with a good size piece of chicken in it. - S&S Ribs were okay, but I prefer it to be boneless for these type of bits and pieces - Egg Roll was nice as well. Overall, as always....I'm very satisfied with this place because they offer great portion sizes for the price, and food always taste great. I would recommend that you try, if you haven't already. If it wasn't for me to read the reviews of this hidden gem, I wouldn't have tested it out. PS: Good Chinese food places have been closing down, there are only a few left. Help support the great ones such as this one.

This place might not look the cleanest, and the old peeling photos of food on the wall don’t look too appetizing but don’t let that scare you away! It’s all about the taste, and the flavours. Super fresh and fantastic! You have to get the chicken balls and fried rice! Also, if you pay cash, its 20% off! Incredible. We will be going back soon!

Low-key perfect take-out. Quality and fairly priced. Keep this place going. Cash offers in store, call your order in, don't pay the doordash tax. Doesn't have that high gloss sheen that other establishments seem to be putting out there.Food: 5/5

First time trying this place and it's hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had. Deep fried foods are not greasy, broth in the wonton soup is delicious and there's about a hundred wontons in it. The broccoli is not overcooked, I could go on. I normally only give negative reviews but the food here is spectacular.

By far the best Chinese food I have found in the east end. Fresh ingredients. Very flavourful. This is our go-to spot. Highly recommended! Our favourite dish is the crispy ginger beef. Also, the sweet & sour ribs are awesome. Ask for the sauce on them if you phone directly they will ask you this anyway. Just call them and forget about Skip the Dishes delivery. UPDATE: Do not order on a Friday. It appears whoever is cooking that day of the week is producing a completely different product. It's weird.

Dont let the place and look of the restaurant fool you, let their amazing fried rice speak for itself. Big fan of the house fried rice tray with deep fried chicken wings, love the taste and the restaurant.

I've been going to Tim Choi's restaurant for over 20 years since I was a kid and it is great value and great tasting for a local Chinese restaurant.Food: 5/5

How is this place rated so high? I've never been so disappointed ordering from a restaurant. The meats just taste like a lot of salt and not much of anything else. The chilli chicken was mushy and was 90% batter 10% chicken. The fried pork chops were tough, dry, and very salty. I had to throw away most of the food because I was so disgusted by it.
