Barcode Chinese Restaurant

Walked in with very high hopes but walked out with disappointment. The first thing that came was the sausage. looks alright from the outside but it was hot outside and "cold" inside. Everything is a bit heavy on salt. Most dishes are warm the most. The only thing I got that's hot was the beef and lamb which was alright. Would have give a 1 start if it wasn't the beef and lamb. Total damage was 33.50 cash after tips. Would not come back again.

Friendly staff. Lamb skewers were amazing. The others & crab, not so much. I guess northern Chinese food isn't for me. If you like northern Chinese BBQ, it's probably worth a try. I don't think I'll be back though.

Came here for specifically, quite disappointed. The mushroom skewers were delicious.

Personally, I'm not a fan of skewers. However, my wife ordered me lamb skewers and they were delicious. I shared the skewers with my 20 month old daughter. She demanded more. At least until we got a spicy. She didn't like that. I don't blame her, the last skewer was spicier than the previous ones. My wife ordered non spicy skewers for myself and our daughter. But she also ordered the regular ones for herself and her parents. We think they touched and transfered the spicy spice over. Aside from that, my wife and her parents ordered a bunch of other dishes and they devoured everything. The boss and staff were extremely friendly. They have a high chair for a toddler and nothing appeared to be broken or missing. Overall, this restaurant is really good.

Pretty much the best Northeastern Chinese BBQ in the GTA. This place is super under-rated. The boss and boss woman are super friendly and very accommodating with the level of heat with your skewers. I go there for BBQ skewers and beer and was never a miss.

Really good Northeastern Chinese bbq skewers at super affordable prices! We had the lamb skewers, bbq fish, bbq beans and mushrooms. Loved all of them. Will definitely visit again.

I went to this restaurant one night. At that time there was no customers in it. I went there for takeout and I saw the owners sitting around and complaining the local customers for being parsimonious and poor. The female owner was complaining the local people is so poor that they can only order a few BBQ and which is not worth their cooking. I will not go to this place anymore since they have ZERO basic respect to the customers.

Didn't impress us on our initial visit some of the food we ordered was overly seasoned with cumin.
