I’ve been in the fitness industry for almost 18 years and this is one of the worst gyms I’ve ever been too. If there was another near by choice, that’s where I would be. 1) it’s cold. Do you know what happens to your vehicle’s engine when it hasn’t had a chance to warm up and you floor it? Imagine it taking 40 minutes for your car to warm up and you have 60 minutes allotted for your warm and commute, but the drive takes 55 minutes. The temperature in this gym (as I’m here currently writing this) is becoming a safety concern. The rapidness at which the air cools the muscles is exponentially increasing the likelihood of major injuries. However, I’ve spoken to employees at the gym, and the electricity bill is much more important. Employees are quick to say that “other members” “especially the elderly” like it colder. I’ve asked them. MANY of them. They all say it’s too cold (especially in the free weight and cardio areas). Again, management only cares about their bottom-line (electricity costs) - an injury lawsuit with witnesses about the gyms temperature and subject matter experts would go a long way in court though . You know what I will say though, they finally got the hint that it’s winter and turned down the air volume that’s been pummeling the entire free-weight area, although (of course) then heat didn’t come on at all. people that suggest “just wear a sweatshirt/sweatpants.” Sooo get more sweaty and trap that moisture on my body, rather than having it wicked away, and get colder than I would be? 🤔 There are a lot of people around here that haven’t had a relationship with a scientific thought in 20+ years. * I’ve also been fed some excuse about the temperature issue in the day care area if they turn up the heat* I don’t want to hear that BS. Hire a contractor and get it fixed. My family has been in HVAC since 1955, so don’t try to pull that with me. Get it fixed and get it right. 2) The gym staff are severely undereducated in regards to fitness and gym etiquette. They don’t pickup/organize things very wisely. They create dangerous and costly situations with their behavior and actions. Their staff comes first and the customer comes second. They’re quick to point a finger, but slow to react (if at all) to the ones pointed at them. 3) I’ve tried to help this gym by offering suggestions from my nearly 2 decades of lessons of working with Olympic Teams, professional bodybuilders, spec ops and spec forces, teen atheletes, mid-life crisis people, and elederly just looking to get out of the chair. They’ve made no changes and continue to put members at risk, just to save a few bucks. 4) Their equipment is sort of a grab-bag assortment of unwanteds from other gyms in the region. I’m actually more into old school lifting and old school gyms, but the “unwanteds” that they purchased are worthless and useless to anyone that has even a little bit of an idea about what they’re doing in the gym. Not all equipment in the gym is subpar and useless, just a good amount of it is. 5) Their plates are falling apart. 6) Gym members aren’t taught proper gym etiquette. 7) The gym doesn’t enforce proper gym etiquette. 8) *this one isn’t really the gyms fault* there’s a lot of people with staring issues. Everyone seems to be focused on everyone else, rather than their own workout. I wish I could give negative stars for this gym.

Trent gave me excellent customer service. If you're looking for a gym to get a great pump and exceptional customer service, power alley fitness is your gym.

Good membership prices, daily classes offered, friendly staff. Wish they would keep the place cooler. It is definitely too warm inside for the treadmills and cardiovascular equipment. There is a nice spin room and they created a nice area to do abs and core workout. The sauna is a plus. The ladies locker room is always clean.

Cancelled a over a month ago and still getting charged. Cancelled at the gym an signed paperwork was told by staff members I wouldn't be charged anymore and yet there is the charge on my bank statement. I can't go to the gym because I'm no longer in washington state, I am on the other side of the country due to being in the military, I joined this gym for the convenience of not having to driving to base.
