Orion Oaks Dog Park

The dog park is large with several different sections including one going to the lake. Each section is separately fenced and gated. There is a section for small dogs only. The Oakland County Sheriff's Department checks for dog tags and rabies vaccine tags. Therefore there is little chance of disease transmission. As an Oakland County Park it is $5 per day to park or $30 annually. You should bring water for your dog. There is a hose at the entrance. Do not bring a dog in heat.

This place is 25 acres of amazing fun for dogs and their owners! They have separate areas for different sizes of dogs and a doggy dock for the dogs who love to swim. The park is big enough to stay away from other people and dogs if needed. There is a $5 parking fee or you can buy a sticker for the year which is a great deal.

We always wanted to take our dogs to a place where they can get into water!! Oakland county in Michigan. has good dog parks but this is the only one with water access for dogs!! The park is very clean and has handicap parking and good trials, well marked. They also have rest pits on the way!!

I took my dog here quite often. Parking on weekends can sometimes be full but u can park across the street also has handicap parking in park. People are friendly, plenty of places to sit while your dog plays. Also public restrooms and water . Your dog will love u even more.

This is an amazing dog park. Very impressive how large of a place it is. We went on a Sunday morning afternoon and we were greated at the dog gate by Oakland county sheriff asking for proof of dogs behind updated on shots and if we had the park tag on the license plate. He was very friendly, but it is clear this place is well monitored.
