Lyon Oaks Dog Park

Another awesome Oakland County Park! Really nice well maintained dog park there with responsible and friendly dog owners. A great way to spend a few hours and socialize your canine companion. Love it!

We love this dog park and it's my dog's favorite place. It's got two very large fenced in areas which alternate bring open and a smaller area for small dogs up front. There's a few gazebos for shade and trash bins and bags posted around the perimeter for cleaning up after your pet. Lastly, it's nearly all grass which is mowed regularly and free for the most part of holes and sharp rocks. Really one of the best dog parks we've been to. 5$ admission or a reasonable priced season pass is well worth it!

Fun place, its Big And popular lots of dogs at all hours during daylight. It can be overwhelming for new dogs.. there is a trail around the fenced in area if you are unsure of how your dog may react.. I call the trail the victory lap, we take it once around after a outing. I find it makes rounding up my furballs a breeze because they are ready to go do the next fun thing.

My two beagles love the Lyon Oaks Dog Park! Our 17 month old beagle has endless energy and he actually is tired after we leave. They have so much fun and have been making some new fur-friends. We will definitely be visiting again in the future during the next few months while the weather is nice.

The dog park is just an fenced but open field but it is well maintained and the dogs and owners that visit are well mannered and look out for one another. Safe place for the dogs to play.

Nice park! my dog enjoys to socialize with other dogs. Would be nice to put a water fountain for summer time. Restrooms: Two Portable restrooms.

What great park. Took Rocko for the first time today and he had a blast. I was surprised how many people and dogs were there for a cold winter's day. It was great. So many great dogs there.

Very spacious, shelters with picnic tables, clean, dog waste bags provided and placed all around the park, and friendly dogs and dog owners. Water is available, but it is only located outside the fencing near the entrance gate. I've never had a bad experience.

Best place to take your dog for a run off the leash. I always take my boy here to enjoy the fresh air and space. Friendly people too!

Friendly people. Good dogs. Lots of room to play. 2 large dog areas, 1 small dog area. Each area has a shelter with picnic tables, and baggies are there in case you forget to bring some.
