Groveland Oaks County Park

Really nice campground. Great for kids. They have 4 parks, a bike track, a nice beach, skatepark and small arcade. The beach is raked every morning. The only downside is they only rent boats, kayaks and bikes on the weekends. So if your staying Monday- Thursday like we did you have no access even though there's at least 40 employees working.

As a lifelong resident of Oakland County I am very appreciative of our fabulous County Park system. Lots of nostalgia for me here at Groveland Oaks as I spent many days here growing up and love seeing my kids now enjoy it here too. Perfect little beach and lots of other park amenities such as camping, small bike skills park, mini putt putt campers only, skatepark, gaga ball and playgrounds. Lots of picnic options. Boat rentals only Fri and Sat for 2021. Camp sites are well kept full hook ups too! and 3 dump stations for quick exit. Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Bathrooms clean. Fun themes happening each week too. And final comment, nice "express" lane for campers with a pass to scan in and skip the line!

First time here really enjoyed our camp site. It was a nice spacious area . Bathroom and playground were close by. Grandchildren Enjoyed the bike ramps , playground , beach & did have fun with the activities that were available. It was nice to see the county sheriff making continues patrolling . Our family will Definitely come again. Felt the bathrooms should have a schedule check list through out the day. Other wise it was awesome!’

Beautiful family friendly park. Lots of things to do inside the park, beach, kayak, playgrounds, putt putt golf, and weekend events scheduled sure to please most attendees. The park is also very close to shopping, so don't worry about under packing food or supplies, Kroger is only 8 minutes away. Oakland County Sheriff's patrolling the grounds for safety.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Most lots are very big. Bathrooms are very clean. Great waterfront with a sandy beach. Small Mini golf course. Places to fish. Small boat rentals. 2 playgrounds one of which is big. Weekend activities for the kids. Friendly staff and a safe environment. I love this place.

We loved camping here! Large site with a flat paved pad. Very clean and well maintained. Lots to do... Multiple play areas, a beach, bike trails, bike skills course, mini golf, and wide open spaces and more! The bathrooms are clean. At night we could see so many stars. Really nice park.

Pretty nice place to camp. We ended up staying here for the Ren Faire as it is pretty close. We stayed on a site but had friends and family in the cabins. Other than lack of restrooms in the cabins we knew beforehand but it would still be a nice add-on, they were great.

Another successful camping trip. Kids had loads of fun. Great campsite, although it was full sun the heat of the day.

Great place to camp, ditto to other reviews, spacious sites, 2 parking spots per site, nice walking/bike path around the park and thru the woods, plus more. The kids loved the Dippin Dot machines. Not really sure of any bad sites that I could see. The only thing I would love for them to do is offer their kayaks/rental boats thru their Halloween wknds.

I love this park. It's very nice. Very big with lots to do. It use to be so clean last year. They just need more rule enforcement with the kids screaming. Jumping off the boating docks and bridges. And with the dogs in the water hole and dog poop everywhere
