Story

Orangetheory Fitness is the best 1 hour workout in the country! Orangetheory Fitness is a one-of-a-kind, group personal training workout. The result is more energy, visible toning, and extra calorie burn for up to 36 hours.
Backed by the science of Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (or EPOC), Orangetheory’s heart rate monitored training is designed to maintain a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. We call it the afterburn. Our members burn an estimated 500 to 1,000 calories in 60 minutes.
At Orangetheory, you’ll get the energy of a group workout with the attention of an experienced personal coach. Our coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging and are committed to helping you meet your fitness goals.
If weight loss is your goal, you can expect to see an estimated loss of three to five pounds per week by attending three to five sessions per week and with proper nutritional planning. If performance is your goal, you can expect to see an increase in power, speed and strength after your first two weeks of attending two to four sessions per week.

Ive gotten so many friends and people from my work at Interior Health onto OTF! Once Ive given them the brief on what to expect at a class, they can't wait to start burning in their Orange Zone. Such a cool concept to working out and ITS FUN! It is a great way to get motivated, to get in shape and meet such a great group of people! I wish the classes went later, the only down fall vs a traditional gym. But its a great start if you need some guidance or that extra little PUSH! Would highly recommend! Special thanks to Emily for sorting my membership out today!

Sooo happy I joined! I would never push myself at a normal gym as I do here. Always options if you can’t do a certain workout. All different types of fitness levels and you always feel welcomed.

Great experience! Front desk are always nice and helpful. The trainers are also encouraging and really push you to get the best workout in. Your first class is free and definitely worth checking out!

After years of hoping for the best, and dabbling and failing in many fitness ideas, I reached the point this year where I had run out of excuses and needed to really make some positive impact on my fitness and physique. I tried a few options locally and put a lot of thought into which gym membership I selected. I’m so glad I chose OTF Kelowna, I love this place! If you make excuses to yourself to not go to the gym, OTF will work for you. The classes are genuinely fun and rewarding thanks to the great coaches, and the feedback you get from the readout on your heart monitor gives you a real sense of achievement. In the past, I’ve always envied people who really enjoy their workouts, but I now look forward to going to OTF every single time and I hate missing my workout. If you struggle to motivate yourself during your workout, OTF will work for you. The coaches will tell you exactly what you need to do, so all you have to do is turn up and sweat. No planning your workouts, no need to worry about your ‘form’, that’s all taken care of by coaches who are fun, knowledgeable and happy to help. I am testing muscle groups I would never be able to work out safely on my own, while overall cardio fitness continues to improve. It’s like a new, focused, personal training session, every single time. And because it changes every time, it never gets boring. Most importantly, it really works! I looked into the zone theory and the science is sound. My goals are simple: lean lean lean. I’ve been attending Kelowna OTF for nearly two months now, and I’m dropping about a pound a week, so I know it’s working. I’ve still got a lot of work ahead of me, but having the confidence that I am now on the right path is HUGE. AND you get to hang out with great people and make some friends along the way! I can’t recommend OTF Kelowna highly enough.
