We love coming to this On the Border. The food is always great and the servers very competent and warm up to customers quickly. The kitchen does an exceptional job from the chips to the entrees and desserts. Katie was awesome as our server. We find this restaurant has more ambiance than other On the Border restaurants in other cities we have tried.

Outstanding service and good food. The employees from the manager to the wait staff were all very attentive and seemed to genuinely concerned that all my needs were addressed. Very good experience and will definitely be visiting again soon!

This is my first ever reivew of a restaurant and unfortunately it's not a good one. This is not a reflection overall of all the waitstaff or food item and it is based on my personal experience. Being seated was prompt. And then we were introduced to our waitress who took our order. I got the steak fajita. We saw our waitress a total of 3 times in 90 minutes. Once to place our order and second to get our drinks. And then we never saw our waitress until 30 minutes later when she gave us the check. The restraint was not busy by any means and she disappeared for long periods of time. During that time she never checked on us I once and when she gave us the check she never asked if we wanted a box for our leftovers. The fajitas were the worst I've ever eaten. The texture of the onion was unlike anything I experienced. If you can believe it, it actually hurt to chew it as it did not break apart in my mouth. I had another person try it and they came to the same conclusion. It also had No flavor. The vegetables in general had little to no flavor. A fajita normally comes with cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and pic de gaio. I had to pay an extra dollar to have cheese and guacamole. I would have to say that even Chili's steak fajitas were 5 times better than what I had here. If I could I would rate our server zero stars and the food as one star. And that's only because the rice and black beans we're halfway decent. In the end I saw my waitress for the final time who did not offer to go boxes for our leftovers and simply placed the reciept paper on the table, I asked where the restrooms were and when I came back she was still no where to be seen. I went and asked if there was a register I could pay at and explained that I refused to leave a 100$ laying on a table without having my receipt in a server book . I also needed a receipt so I asked someone to cash me out and he said "you're server should take care of it" I explained she had been no where to be seen and he said he would get a manager. Instead of that the server came back and we just gave her the money and left. P.S. It looked like everyone else was being taken care of and having fun. And yes I still tipped out of courtesy as someone who works as a server.

The food was amazing! Service not so great :( This was our first time at "On The Border" I would have to give it 3 stars. Really wish our waitress could've accommodate our needs better! He was super rude and didn't really seem like he wanted to be there! But besides that the food was delicious!

Not real mexican food, but good none they less. Shaken margaritas all day.. yaaaas
