China Wok

So, this is the fourth chinese restaurant we've tried since being in Rapid City. I wish we would have found it sooner. The woman that took our order, also cooked our food. She was incredibly friendly. She's also a disabled Marine, thank you for your service. The food was better than what we've had at the other restaurants and the service was even better than the food. We will definitely be going back. Thank you.

I've been ordering from them for a while now, and i must say i'm impressed. Much better than the other Chinese places in town. It is the only sushi place that delivers. The wait time can be a little long from time to time, but the food is always hot. Don't order the fried rice though, it is not very good. Excellent noodle dishes.

I went in last night at ten to 8. I had been grocery shopping and running errands all day and was tired so thought, heck, lets try it! I'd never eaten here before, but a friend said she liked them. They have take out--fast and easy right? WRONG! My order was in at 7:55 and I was told it was a 10-15 minute wait. Well 20 minutes later I'm curious where my food is as they only had 3 other groups at all, and I just ordered orange chicken and rice. But hey, they make it to order right? No big deal. I work in a restaurant and I understand some nights are better than others. 25 minutes since placing my order, the lady comes out and quickly said something about the chef "miscounting the number of orange chickens he had to make, but he was making mine now." Uhh...they forgot my order? Okay...well 15 more minutes pass and she looks out and sees me sitting there, and says "you STILL haven't gotten your orange chicken?!" Uh, no, I haven't. Thanks for reminding me. She was yelling at the other staff in front of guests too. 45 minutes after placing my order I finally get my food and leave. I drive 5-10 minutes to my apartment downtown, and, quite hungry at this point, chow down. It was disappointing and I didn't eat it. The chicken had apparently gotten cold and recooked because they forgot it so it was tough and rubbery. The sauce had congealed and the breading was soggy. The "fried rice" was just steamed rice made with boullion or broth. The only good part was the fortune cookie! I'm never going back.

We ordered online. Order came wrong fourth time in a row. Checked order, we we're right. Used to be good. Now their quality has gone down hill and they have some very rude lady running the phone telling us China Wok Doesn't Need Our Business. We should prove them right.

Called to inquire about their delivery fee and was yelled at. "Of COURSE we charge a delivery fee, EVERYONE charges a delivery fee, are you STUPID?" I told her she was being very rude and she continued to yell. I let her know we won't ever order from that establishment and hung up. Glad I found out before I gave them any of my money!
