Millstone

Enjoyed an early dinner on a Friday; we had the fish fry special. The baked cod was moist, the fried, a bit dry. Everything else was quite good, especially the carrot cake for dessert. They serve a large square easily, shared by two, and it was delicious! Friendly server, good value. The place got busy toward 6 pm.

Good restaurant. Their breakfast is where they really shine! When I lived on that side of town, I went there fairly often. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, but I have no bad things to say about the place.

Tried the restaurant because of the high number of locals eating there. We were served by Tania who was very polite and efficient. Food was a great cost/quality ratio. I would eat here again!

Save your money.....Better burgers at a fast food joint. Had it not been for the excellent service from our waitresses, I would have given this place a 1.

Admittedly we were there later in the evening but that should be NO excuse. The lettuce on the salad bar had pieces that were starting to turn brown. The clam chowder was so thick it could've been used for wallpaper paste. I was never asked if I wanted another soda and my husband was never asked if he wanted more hot water for his tea. He had the fried fish and it was fried so much it was tough. The North Lacrosse location seems to be going downhill and isn't as good as it used to be.
