Our department held an all-day meeting in one of the small private conference rooms at the hotel. The room was very nice and there were plenty of outlets for all our laptops. There was a thermostat for the room so we were all comfortable. The hotel provided fresh orange juice, coffee, and tea (a very good variety). We also arranged for the hotel to serve lunch. The spread was very good, I especially liked the vegetarian wrap option and the fresh fruit tray.

I might give NYLO another change. However, there are multiple little improvements that could be made. First, there were numerous and obvious stains on the linens. Had anyone took the time to look over the room, they would have noticed the stains. Second, there were also stains on the curtains above the windows. Not sure how they got there, don't want to know, but it was not pleasant to look at. Third, The Loft.. food was fine but our table was still covered in crumbs from the last party and our glassware and silverware again, had OBVIOUS spots all over. My biggest concern is that staff is overlooking very small, but obvious details. Not sure whether they just don't care or are too understaffed to take care of them. Definitely needs improvement and I was slightly disappointed because we really enjoyed the style of the hotel and the staff was friendly.

NYLO has the potential of a good, chic hotel, especially for the area. We booked specifically because it seemed like a boutique option in an area that doesn't have great options. Having said that, our stay fell short. Seems like lots of small issues. When we checked in (around 9 PM), we asked if there was a small fridge in room. The manager mentioned he could have one sent up – which was great. We got to the room and waited. No fridge came. Had to call the desk and ask if it was coming that night – didn't want to unwind and get an unexpected knock late at night. Very much appreciated the fridge but in the short time from the check in to the room the manager apparently forgot about it. No huge deal, but not a particularly busy night. The AC unit in our room awakened me very early in the morning with a loud clicking and clanging noise. We reported it to the front desk and were told an engineer would address it. When we returned later that evening, the unit was louder than ever. We called the desk AGAIN, and it seems the original engineer had left without placing the cover back on. Huh? How does that happen? Finally, it was fixed but after two calls. Not ideal. The shower was not completely clean – the grout and tile area near the floor appeared a bit scummy. Gross. Despite having a "service" sign on the door, housekeeping did not service. Again, no huge deal, but we did have to ask for fresh towels. We went down the the bar for an after dinner dessert and coffee. The bartender was not very friendly. In fact, he cleared the cream and sugar before we were even done with our coffee. It was very odd and had to ask for it again; we were not finished – not good service to clear condiments before a table is done. Overall, I would consider staying here again – beds are comfy and the outdoor deck is a pretty great space – but the service really needs to step up. For a $200/night+ hotel, I expect more. Will consider other options before booking again.

Had a nice time here for a wedding + overnight stay. Hotel rooms are nice (industrial styling), but oddly didn't feature a full length mirror. Restaurant/patio/function area was good, as was the food/drink. Location was agreeable, in that it was close to the Warwick mall, but the entrance was on a quieter street side. Had a dedicated parking lot. Hotel is a converted mill building set amongst a few other mill buildings, and a lazy river.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The concept of an old factory being renovated into a hotel is way cool. They did a great job. Our room was perfect, small but well put together and modern. The restaurant/bar area was fun and different too. A very unique hotel, convenient to Providence and Newport also. We would stay again!
