Northwinds Hotel Canmore

We stayed in a pet friendly room with our dog. The room had a patio sliding door exit to a grassy alley like area we could easily let our dog out.nnThe room itself is carpeted which I found a little odd for pet friendly but not a problem at all.nnThere is a microwave, mini fridge, and keurig coffee machine, all of which we used and appreciated.

It’s a dog friendly hotel but it’d be better if the rooms have soundproof to have some noise cancellation for the dogs or at least doors shouldn’t have gaps especially it’s a new place for them to stay and crying noises would be expected when left alone. And to people that comes without a dog should understand and be kind that it’s a dog friendly place. The check in/check out experience was good and some of the front desk were nice. The location was very accessible and parking wasn’t a problem.

It was a lovely room and service was terrific. The only problem was that I specifically said my husband couldn't walk far and they put us in a room facing the back with no parking. If they hadn't been so nice and the room great, I would have been angry. I loved the place and would highly recommend it!

Such a wonderful experience staying at Nothwinds hotel. Hotel Staff was so friendly. We really like the room, It was huge, very neat and clean.The washroom was super clean and they use top quality products in the washroom like, hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and body bath. I highly recommend Northwinds Hotel to everyone

Great location, good price and clean nice rooms.nThe only complaint that I have is the person at the service desk that asked my room number and when I clearly said that I would rather not say it out loud and just showed him the reservation, he REPEATED IT OUT LOUD. This is a safety concern for me as a solo female traveler that night and it really made me feel uneasy.
