Northwinds Hotel Canmore

If you don’t want to talk to anyone and you’re going to be out and about, this hotel is very adequate. The check-in is done online, so no interactions are needed. The room was simple and fine, but the bed needed to be cleaned better—I discovered piles of different lengths of hair on the mattress protector. Rooms with adjoining doors offer limited sound dampening so you can hear the people next door easily, almost like they’re in the room with you. I recommend bringing your own pillow as the hotel’s go flat immediately.

Spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds in a modern decour. This is a no frills, self service accommodation if you just want a nice room without extra amenties such as breakfast, pool, or gym. My only complaints were no closet or wall hooks to hang your coats so had to improvise and use bedpost corners, and cars can park directly in front of your room so window curtains need to remained closed mostly. Overall it is great value.

Misty and her team run an amazing hotel here. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the view of the night sky is phenomenal. The stars and the moon are seen clearly from the balcony. It was a beautiful view from the second floor and in the day time a nice visibility of the mountains.nnYou can also step outside into the patio to experience the fresh air from the balcony/ patio.nnThere are no elevators here so one would have to take the stairs to the second floor. The rooms are locked with a number pad which personally, I find is more convenient than a key or a fob especially when you are already holding alot of things in your hands.nnThe room had a nice fireplace that had a timer and a rocku TV where you can watch Netflix, prime etc.nnThere is a restaurant attached to this hotel chain where you can take your food to go which is really convenient.nnMy interaction with Steven and Misty was very pleasant and both were accommodating and knowledgeable.nnThanks again team

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Northwinds Hotel Canmore during our stopover travelling from Vancouver to Manitoba, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Online check in was a breeze. The hotel itself is situated in a perfect location, with breathtaking views of the mountains and easy access to nearby restaurants and local attractions.nnThe room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the family room as it has a king size bed, bunk bed. Sliding doors in front of our rooms where cars can park directly which makes it easier to access. Bathroom is always a main thing for me when booking a hotel. Their bathroom was very nice, clean and has the basic necessities.nnOverall, I highly recommend Northwinds Hotel Canmore to anyone visiting Canmore. Whether you’re in town for outdoor activities or simply to relax and enjoy the scenery, this hotel is the perfect place to stay. We will definitely be coming back our next trip!

Very clean room and ideal hotel location. Convenient check in process. Room has all essential amenities including free parking. No breakfast available but we travel with snacks so it wasn't an issue for us. Would definitely stay again in the future and recommend to others.
