Had a great stay at the Canmore Inn & Suites while visiting for a hockey tournament! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Canmore, making it easy to explore the town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you’d need. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out a breeze.nThe pool and waterslide was a fun bonus! Fresh and affordable breakfast on site along with a great restaurant next door.nOverall, a solid choice for a stay in Canmore as it is affordable, comfortable and clean, great staff, and well-located! Will definitely stay here again!
Amazing place if you want to listen to children playing tag in the hallway. Do not stay on the third floor if you want a peaceful time, children run through the hallway to access the water slide because it isn’t attached to the pool building. The footsteps shook our room. My friends have demanded that I include that when you are using the toilet and kids run by the running will vibrate your entire body.nnThe rooms are alright but somewhat outdated. The layout in the family rooms is a little odd. Needs some renovating. The rooms are very clean.nnService was great. I travelled here with my friends and the staff were very friendly and understanding. We decided to shorten our stay of two nights due to the noise from kids and we only had to pay for one night when we explained our issue to them.
This is an affordable family hotel in the mountains which is a rare thing. I would not pick this as a romantic or peaceful getaway spot if I was sans children but if you have kids or don’t mind some extra noise this place is great. There is a waterslide, hot tub, affordable breakfast buffet 5 under free, and video games room. The rooms are a little dated and had some wear in some areas but totally fine for our purpose. I also appreciated the proximity to shopping because of the foot path over the rail tracks.nnMy biggest shoutout though is to the staff. I left my expensive ski jacket in my room after we checked out and only realized a couple hours later. They were prompt helping me locate it. Thank you!
Clean and great front desk service! One big thing, the bed sagged a good 6 +inches. Yes you read that correctly. Getting out of bed was like climbing out of a deep pothole! Room 303. New beds are a must! The hotel is dated but it was clean and that’s worth a lot more than being right up to date in my opinion. If the bed hadn’t been of the worst I’ve ever slept on, I’d give it more stars but that part gets a -20.
My daughters and I used to frequent this hotel for their breakfast buffetwhich by the way, is really good.had no problem paying the higher price as we were not guest of the hotel. Today, February 09,2025 we once again went for breakfast but, we were turned away as we were not guests of the hotel. This is a new policy of themaybe new ownership. Bad business decision as this is a loss of revenue and my recommendation of a great place to get a great breakfast at a fair price.nnDave
