Tried this place recently & it was pretty good! We got an iced latte, Pork Belly Benny, and the Bodega Sandwich!nnThe coffee was pretty decent! Tastes like good quality coffee. No complaints there.nnThe Pork Belly Benny was okay. Apparently it’s one of their most popular items, but I’m honestly not sure why. It wasn’t bad, but the pork belly had a strange sweetness that did not complement the savoury elements in an eggs benny. I did however like the pickled onions that they add, which was a nice touch!nnLastly the bodega sandwich was lovely! Quite tasty & definitely a solid choice.nnWe arrived right at opening & within 25 minutes, all the seats were filled, so if you come here & want to get a seat, come early!!!!nnOverall, 7.2/10. The decor is a 10/10! Such a stunning location & you can’t help but admire the beauty
I went with a friend on a Saturday morning, it was busy from the minute it opened. I had a croissant and the hot chocolate. The croissant was absolutely delicious, very buttery and the lamination was done with a lot of precision, which is a difficult art to master. That being said, the hot chocolate was alright - I've had better and this one wasn't at all memorable. My friend had a matcha latte she wished was stronger.nnAll the pastries looked delicious and I would definitely go again if I were in the area. I was tempted to buy more than one just by the look of them and would love to try something new or even have another butter croissant.
Had a great brunch at Nemesis Coffee. The food was really solid and well put together, the decor is beautiful and modern, and the overall vibe makes it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. Service was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a big difference. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to anyone visiting Vancouver.
Absolutely breathtaking space! The architecture alone makes it a must-visit, but the coffee is top-tier. Had the mortadella sandwich – seriously the best I've ever had, buttery croissant and perfect balance. Lives up to the hype!nThe staff were super friendly and efficient even when busy. Loved the industrial-chic vibe with the visible roasting equipment.
Worth coming to see the architecture. Outside Emily Carr, great location as only a short walk away from False Creek.nnMatcha Ube Latte was interesting. The cappuccino was my favorite: I don't mind the phallic looking flower. Cookies are a good size for groups to share. Interior is bigger than it looks from the outside.nnHave to order food first, then the staff will assign a table.nnConsidering the location is by an art school, the menu is very basic. Would like to see more controversial or innovative options. This location is better than the Nemesis coffee downtown.
