The coffee here is quite strong for my liking however the chai tea was excellent. They have quite the variety of brunch options - will caution those ordering the Avocado Toast it is mainly cucumber ribbons over the avocado spread. The Salmon is delicious however there was barely any creme cheese spread over top. Overall I say the coffee/drinks and baked goods are worth the higher price, but the food is not.
Nemesis Coffee is undeniably beautiful—its sleek, modern design makes it a standout and absolutely Insta-worthy. If you're after a spot that looks good in photos, it delivers.nUnfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the aesthetics. The service felt cold and unwelcoming. The staff at the counter didn’t greet us or even crack a smile, which set the tone for the visit.nWe ordered a butter croissant, a flat white, and a latte. The croissant was just okay—nothing special, and certainly not worth the premium price. As for the coffee, it was disappointingly average. In a city like Vancouver, where great coffee is easy to find, Nemesis doesn’t really stand out when it comes to taste or value.nAll in all, while the space is stunning, the overall experience felt underwhelming. If you’re looking for great coffee and friendly service, there are definitely better spots in Vancouver.
We were 4th in line to place our order at the counter, and then they will seat you after you’ve ordered and paid. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and five takeaway pastries and one crafted coffee. Total was $75, but the breakfast only was $20 each. Completely worth it! Excellent service, smiles on everyone’s face and yummy pastries. Across the street is the “Vancouver Corner” memorial. Beautiful! Highly recommend!!
One of my absolute favourite spots around the Emily Carr area. Nemesis Coffee nails it every time — from the beautifully poured lattes to the perfectly flaky pastries the croissants and seasonal danishes are a must-try.nnThe interior is airy and creative, making it a great place to get work done or just chill and people-watch. You can tell they take coffee seriously here — every cup is smooth, balanced, and consistently excellent.
Great coffee, bit of a line up as they assign table after you've ordered, no menu to look into while waiting until you reach the cashier added more time waiting. Pretty cool interiors, servers were nice and knowledgeable. No wifi if you are hoping to study/work.
