CINNAMON BUNS! Since I moved in Vancouver i have a fair share of trying cinnamon buns from everywhere but today!!!! I literally am happy! This is the most moist, sweet and delicious cinnamon buns in Vancouver!!!!! I just have to tell everyone!!!! This will the start of a long relationship grounds coffee!!nAlso, please have light option for espresso beans for my iced americano : *also thanks to the barista today for the chocolate!!
Their drinks and cinnamon buns are always good. I love the cozy interiors, with the plants and wooden/industrial interiors. What I love the most are the beautiful paintings they display on the walls. The baristas are also nice!
The softness of the cinnamon bun is just right, not hard to chew nor too soft to pick up with the fork.nnThe amount of cherry sauce topping they added was quite generous. Since the cherry sauce was poured on top of the cinnamon bun, some bites were overly sweet despite removing extra sauce. I personally would like the flavour of the sauce to complement the bun rather than to overpower it. It could be achieved.nnAs for seating, the seats are very limited. It could take some time before getting yourself a table since a number of customers here stay long to do work/studies on their laptops.
We visited this café because of their famous cinnamon rolls. They were good, but not anything extraordinary, pretty standard overall. We also tried the matcha frappe, which was very sweet and tasted mostly like vanilla
I always enjoy visiting Grounds For Coffee. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the coffee is excellent, and the cinnamon buns are the best I’ve had in Vancouver. The staff are friendly, efficient, and make the place feel like a true neighbourhood café. It’s the kind of spot that keeps you coming back.
