I ordered through Doordash, and while food being passed on to me, I was struggling to hold two coffees and food but the tape on the straw hole SAVED ME from spilling!!! Thank you so much for thinking so far ahead nnThe wrap was hot and delicious. Had a bite and thought I should leave a review, so you can see my one bite in the photo nnAsked for sweeter coffee for my drink, and it is a perfect sweetness. Really appreciate it nnAnd the package had a cute note with smiles and hearts So sweet. Thank you for giving good energy to start my day! I would love to come in person next time.
Visited Milk & Honey Cafe on a busy Saturday morning and was glad I could still get a table. I ordered a black sesame latte and a bacon-and-cheese waffle, and I appreciated how quickly the food and drinks arrived despite the rush.nnThat said, I was quite disappointed with the black sesame latte. I expected something similar to a matcha latte — rich, and flavourful — but the drink tasted like a diluted coffee / latte with little to no black sesame flavour. It really caught me off guard.nnThe waffle was even more underwhelming. I could barely find any bacon, and the cheese portion was very minimal. The waffle itself tasted like plain buttery dough — not well seasoned — and the texture was odd: dense on the inside and not crispy on the outside.nnI wasn’t able to finish either item. I ate less than a quarter of the waffle because it was simply not enjoyable.nnThe cafe is also quite small and gets very loud, with people talking over one another. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the kind of atmosphere I was hoping for.
I stumbled upon a little coffee shop tucked away in the Champlain Heights area. A cozy, family-operated shop, with friendly staff making me feel right at home.nnThe latte is smooth and good. The order to made fresh croissant is a treat not to be missed. They offer a few flavors, and I tried the green tea version, which was delightfully.nnThe experience was overall pleasant, I would recommend bringing a coat if you’re visiting during winter. The shop can get a bit chilly. That said, this is a wonderful spot for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing place to unwind. Whether you’re catching up on a book, meeting a friend, or just enjoying a peaceful cup of coffee, this little gem is well worth a visit!
Cute hyper-local spot for waffles, wraps and all kind of tea including bubble tea & coffee options. Worth a trip for anyone but especially if you have young kids with the nice play area at the back.
First time Customer alert nn- Tried this cute small store for their waffles and drink after work.n- Had their waffle deal where you pick 2 waffles. We picked the Chocolate and Matcha Waffles n- Drink: Fairy Rose Milk Tea Cold and Vanilla Lavendar Lattee Coldn- The store was quite open concept and had decent music on.nnPros:n- Won't be a bad place to study, but it has limited seats overall. Probably roughly 10 tables n- Waffle was really yummy, I personally liked the Matcha since it was nice and fluffy, and if you look at my photo, you can see the waffle texture. n- My partner liked the chocolate waffle, which had bits of chocolate pieces.n- Both waffles weren't sweet, which really made it worth it for us.n- The Fairy Rose Milk Tea, I liked it as I could taste the rose flavoring, but my partner didn't like much as it was more milky. If you like milky with rose flavoring, then give it a try ~nnImprovements/comments:nn- I think investing in menu per table would be better as people can sit and order. The reason for this is that guest can order whole sitting and can add onto their overall order.nInstead of paying right at the door with the TV menu.nMy partner and I would have been more inclined to order another batch of waffles if we hadn't paid beforehand.n- There was only 1 person during this time, and maybe it would be hard to do this, but the likely of someone ordering more is easier than paying everything first, in my opinion.n- The chairs are okay. If you are wearing shorts, just pick another chair as it can cause lines on your back legs.nnOverall, I won't mind going back again and would recommend trying the place out nn-J approved.
