Wow! What an amazing setup for a cooking class! Room layout, equipment, cooking facilities A+!! On top of that David was a superb teacher! Casual, funny, engaging and a fabulous cook! I learned several things that I will use immediately at home! We did a fish course, steak course and dessert. Each was amazingly easy to create and delicious! We ate together at a long table in the adjoining room and so got to meet other participants and enjoy them, the food, and drink. On top of all this they consciously accommodated my gluten free needs and made sure I was comfortable! We came away so impressed with the entire evening! My friend who has done cooking classes all over the world rated this as one of the best she had ever attended. Kudos Dirty Apron!! My only sadness is that you are not located in my home town!! Thanks so much David! Nicki and Katy
Our group of 15 had an AMAZING time at our private event. The chef, Takashi, was very kind and patient. He was very thorough in his instructions and everyone felt confident in executing. The FOH Manager, Caio, was extremely tentative and always checking in with us. The team was very accommodating with our range of dietary restrictions. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be recreating these dishes at home. We all can't wait to come back and try out another menu from their extensive and diverse selection!
This was my third class at Dirty Apron and as always, it did not disappoint. Even though I'm not vegan, I took the vegan class and learned a lot and am excited to try different spins on the recipes. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are treated to phenomenal customer service as you prepare for the class. The demonstrations for each course are thorough and informative, and there are always great cooking tips interspersed throughout. The cooking stations are always well prepared and very clean. After each course, you get to enjoy your food in the dining area, which always has a great atmosphere. Each dish is packed with flavour and has a good mix of texture. Although the classes are a bit more expensive than some others, they are worth every penny or every nickel since we no longer have pennies.... Thanks Dirty Apron for another wonderful evening- I'm already excited for my next class!
We did a couples cooking class this past Friday, to celebrate our anniversary. I’m personally a newbie when it comes to cooking, but I found this class to be fun, and exciting! Takashi was our teacher chef and he deserves a lot of praise. He made the night fun for my girlfriend and I. We cooked lobster and fish, and just hearing him talk about cooking, I could feel the passion in his voice and in the words he was saying. He kept the class light and fun. I want to come back here to try out their other courses. I recommend Dirty Apron. Whether you’re a cooking newbie like me or someone who is more advanced in cooking, you will have a great time!
Amazing unique sandwiches and London Fog. Flavours are perfectly balanced , savoury, tangy, sweet umami. Interior is very chill and comfortable to sit. I come here all the time to grab lunch, their food is awesome 100% of the time — very consistent taste and quality.
We loved the vegan cooking class. Food was delicious. Great chef and the staff was amazing!
I had heard so much of The Dirty Apron and finally got to experience it first hand 3 weeks ago. It was a lovely evening, filled with new knowledge, fun, delicious food and great company. Who knew fresh handmade ravioli was so simple!? Purchased two aprons upon our departure. Would love to come back again. Thank you to our chef who was fantastic :
Came back hooked LOVING the entire experience after the Vibrant Vegan Cooking Class for two, a truly unique, awesome and flawless experience and a night ill never forget, thank you!! Our chef and instructor, David Robertson was phenomenal.. super nice dude, extremely creative, innovative and inspiring. The menu was fantastic, really quirky consisting of four bold and beautiful dishes from starter to dessert, my favorite was the Quinoa Buddha Bowl. The joint itself is spectacular, a real homey and comforting vibe with incredible decor down to every finishing touch whilst also using many sustainable and eco friendly adaptations to saving food waste and single use plastics. The guiding, teaching and meals to follow were well instructed in a nicely presented manner, simple to follow yet changed my perception towards cooking and being innovative with ingredients, methods and temperatures of cooking. I learnt a ton from this class and cannot wait to get cooking like a pro. Make sure you save room in that belly as it's worth fitting in every last spoonful! Holy crumb, words cannot describe how yummy this food is, you have to see it to believe it trust me! Support local businesses!
Great class, great instructor, amazing experience. The food was incredible! Everything was prepped and reheated thoroughly ahead of time so everything went super smoothly. The only problem is the seats. I have never in my life sat in more uncomfortable chairs than what they have. After the first inspection session I started having back pains. Many in the class had to stand up for the whole class due to the terrible chairs. I highly recommend it to couples.
Wonderful evening! Enjoyed the oh la la course. Teaching was amazing and the kitchen setup is very convenient.
