I should have known this place would be bad from the moment I arrived to check in. They charge you $95 plus tax for early check in which is so odd to me because other hotels better than this offer free early check ins upon availability of the room. The main entrance was blocked off with caution tape and you needed to enter and exit through the side door which was not shovelled and the elevator took almost 5mins to come down even though they have only 4 floors which immediately made the hotel feel unsafe and poorly managed.nnOnce in the room, things only got worse. There was no water, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel considering you need water to survive. Housekeeping did not properly clean the room they only remade the bed and the space did not feel refreshed at all. Upon checking out, you have to clean your room…. Yes you heard that right. They brought me garbage bags to clean my own room saying if I don’t I would be charged $300. In other words you have to do the job of the housekeeper and all they have left to do is bed making and stock up….nnThe “breakfast” was also extremely disappointing. The food tasted stale for example the orange juice tasted like it had been sitting in the jug for 5 days, there were very very limited options and anything substantial such as eggs, bacon etc required an additional purchase.nnAfter this experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel and book elsewhere for your sanity and peace of mind.
I stayed at this hotel on December 25 with my wife to celebrate her birthday. Overall, our stay was pleasant, and we tried our best to be respectful guests.nnAt checkout, the staff asked us to remove the birthday balloons from the room, which we did without any issue. We also ensured that the room was properly cleaned before leaving.nnHowever, the experience became disappointing when a room cleaner came in and spoke very rudely to my wife. Not only did she ask my wife to pick up the pizza box in an extremely disrespectful manner, but she also made my wife do her job by asking her to use the broom and clean the room herself. This was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.nnGuests should never be asked to perform housekeeping duties. The way the situation was handled showed a serious lack of training, courtesy, and basic customer service skills.nnThis incident ruined what was meant to be a special day for us. Hospitality is about respect, and unfortunately, that was missing here. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff behavior and training.
This was our first stay at a Monte Carlo Inn . My husband and I were both very very impressed and we would definitely stay here again. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and pleasant. The rooms were very welcoming and comfortable and exceptionally clean.nOverall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend.nYou walk in the front doors and very classy looking. Again the rooms were perfect and again exceptionally clean.nVery happy customersnnLynn and Tom
My experience at check-in was very bad. I had requested early check-in, but the customer service was the worst. They simply said they couldn’t do anything until 2 PM and told us to come back after one hour. Instead of politely allowing us to wait in the lobby, they sent us outside and told us to return after an hour. This is not the right way to treat guests. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Worst experience ever.
Stayed there for Sunday night. Everything was impeccably, clean with only a few minor blemishes on the wall by the bed. The front desk staff were polite and very friendly during both check-in and checkout! Was very affordable to stay and will come back again. The bed was fully made prior to the pictures I took.
