Montana's BBQ & Bar

Montana's is a chain resturaunt, so you usually know what you are going to get. Therefore it is usually consistent therefore tasty. I love the ribs you can't go wrong, especially with the apple butter BBQ sauce. I wouldn't necessarily have steak here, as I'd rather go to a steakhouse. Some other dishes are family enjoys is the penne pasta and the pulled pork sandwich. Really we haven't had anything you didn't like.

Service was okay at best. The food was awful, both of us felt sick half way into the burger and could not finish. The rest of the night was something I would prefer to never have to experience or remember again.

One of my local favourites. Some of the best service restaurants in Nanaimo. Dinner is always great and drinks are amazing. I always seem to be seated right away. The atmosphere is open log style that just makes you feel cozy and comfortable. Looking forward to my next visit so I can add some photos to this review. Omg. I got to go get me a steak dinner right now! Pour me a beer.I am on my way.

1st time customers from Courtenay, came in for lunch. Large menu choices, nice desert options. Service was fast and the steaks were good. Definitely on my list to come back. Or even stop in for a beer in the bar side.

Came in on a Friday night to enjoy a few snacks and a beer... planning to relax & use the WIFI to plan a vacation with wife. Sadly, like many tines we have visited... their WIFI sucks. Usually just slow WIFI... this time NO WIFI. Mentioned it to server... but obvious she couldn’t care less. Food was good... but otherwise disappointing as in this day-and-age working WIFI is not an “option”... but a necessity (like it or not). Get with the program NANAIMO MONTANA’S!
