Dami Sushi

I would give it a 6 Star review if I could. Awesome place tucked away with some of the best Japanese food we have ever had. The price was reasonable and the portions larger than most places. Wild salmon is used and it was the BEST we have ever had. Food quality was very high!! Wish I could eat here once a week. Totally recommend this place.

Have eaten in many excellent Sushi restaurants, in Toronto, New York City and elsewhere, so have some variety of experience. John, the owner and master chef, is a sushi making machine! Excellent presentation, fresh fish, great variety, excellent portions, super service! Couldn't ask for anything better and while Nanaimo has other decent Sushi establishments, we don't bother going anywhere else! Try it, you'll be hooked ;)

Very good sushi for a very good price. I will definitely be coming back. This place fills up fast for dinner so show up early. Entering and leaving the place is met with the best greeting / farewell.

Awesome food. Best sushi in Nanaimo. Great service and staff. I am getting more adventurous and trying other items.
