Montana's BBQ & Bar offers a great selection of North American dishes and drinks. The decorations look gorgeous and make you feel as if you were in a mountain lodge. Staff is dynamic, friendly and helpful. Prices are quite steep though which has however become a problem related to most restaurant chains these days.

They literally can't get anything right anymore. Not even once have they managed to cook my steak properly. I order medium-well and get medium-rare or rare every time. I ordered well done this time hoping maybe they could manage to cook it past medium and the result is terrifying. Absolutely burnt to a crisp on the outside and blood red on the inside, you'd think a caveman cooked it. Just once I'd like my steak cooked properly, is that so much to ask? Look at this pathetic mess... sad sad sad

It’s Cool hang out bar and a good grill, their steak is inconsistent but it’s only of the only places in Ottawa that you can have a bbq beef rib. The prices on most items are relatively reasonable but extremely overpriced such as the rib I ordered. the rib was very well done but had way too much BBQ sauce on it to the extent that you can’t taste the meat itself. Almost like a bbq sauce served with some beef, not the other way around. The baked potatoes were fine, as how can one screw up a potato?

Fast service! We had the Mac'nCheese comes with salad and small pice of corn bread.  Only thing I would change would be ti add honey-butter fir the cornbread which is always just a wee bit on the drier side (it's supposes to be that way)

I think you get less ribs now as it's just 9 bones in a large, and not a full rack. Love the 32oz beers.
