This location is much better than the east end location I was at a few months ago.   The food was better here and service was effective and friendly.   We were even able to have some gluten free options: we were offered corn tortillas or lettuce to wrap the fajitas.   The patio is nice in the summer.    I still miss the staff wearing their plaid shirts and cowboy hats; the generic black t-shirts have got to go.

Been twice so far, return visit because we were happy with first.  Friendly servers and tasty enough food even if not stellar.  Steaks are good.  Nachos and salsa dip for a dollar a good accompaniment to drinks whilst waiting for main food.  Would like option of also having guacamole dip with this.  Good serving sizes.  We're happy to return.

The food and drinks are always good. I especially like their mini margaritas. Service is pretty consistently good. The atmosphere and decor are fun, if not a bit too loud. Only problem is that there is often a wait in the late afternoon/evenings so you may want to call ahead.

Good selection of Tex Mex food. It is a chain so if you have been to another one this one is the same. 
Excellent nacho chips made fresh on site by really cool machine which kids love. 
Food is better than average but not outstanding. 
Good drink selection but is often loud. Outdoor seating in summer

The original Lone Star location. Started back in 1986 by a couple of Texan's who missed their home cooked food while playing for the Ottawa Rough Riders. To be honest the overpowering smell of Mesquite is gone now (those who went here in the 80s-90s know what I'm talking about) but the fajitas are still super yummy.

I couldn't tell you anything other then that the chips and salsa (which you now pay $1 for) are to die for, and the steak fajitas are awesome. That's all I've eaten for 30 years and that's all I ever get.

I"m sure the rest of the stuff on the menu is pretty good too. But really who cares. Lone Star Fajitas!!!!
