Cora

First thing I see when we walked in is a cook with his pants hanging down past his butt. With 1 butt cheek in full view. Then he touched said butt cheek looking for his cell phone which was in his back pocket down by his knees. He didn't wash his hands after touching his bum and went right back to cooking. Not a great first impression. Then my daughter being stared at constantly by the dishwasher was unsettling to say the least. Food was bland and portions have gotten much smaller since our last visit to a Cora's in a different city.

For the most part, it’s a good place. They are trying hard. The manager is always watching the staff. It shows that he cares. Good food, good coffee. We come here every month or so. Gets busy some days, but it’s not an issue.

My daughter and I arrived at 6:10 on the morning. We were the first and only patrons on the restaurant during the meal. I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon. When they arrived, the eggs were cool and the bacon was stone cold - obviously left over from the night before, and the cook didn't bother reheating it.

There can be fairly lengthy wait times if you don't arrive bright and early. The food is great, and service is fairly quick. Be prepared to pay more for actual maple syrup, otherwise the table syrup is free.

Great breakfast place with fresh fruit. The prices can be a bit high but it’s a nice environment for families.
