DQ Grill & Chill Restaurant

I have gone to this Dairy Queen several times as it is close to my house. I have always enjoyed my ice cream orders and found the staff helpful. Note: I have only tried their ice cream-related items, so I can't speak about their non-dessert food.nnIn terms of the location, I almost always bring my order home, as I find the space to be a tad small to dine in. The building itself also looks like it could use some upgrading. That said, I definitely plan to go back.nnPost updated with four photos from September 2024. The first four photos are from 2023.

PUBLIC HEALTH UPDATE. Genuinely ordered a dessert last night. Watched the same employee that took my order use the same gloves to prepare my food. Touched my brownie, same gloves that would be touching your hot food as well. Not just 1 employee. All employees said this was common practice. They do not change there gloves after using the cash register. All of them saw nothing wrong. 7 employees- never returning and reported this location to public health.

Best DQ staff in Ottawa! They are very friendly and professional. I ordered a custom cake with a photo printed on top. Hetarth was there for my pick-up and was absolutely fantastic to deal with. He truly went above and beyond. The entire process was very convenient. Easy to get in touch with them and coordinate details. I even had to change the pick-up date, and they were extremely accommodating. Super impressed with the bank street team. Will be back for sure!

My cookie dough blizzard was a little watery. Not a lot of places to sit outside. Overall not too bad but icecream could have been better.

Service and vibe is fine but food wise it went downhill quick. As soon as I was handed my blizzard it immediately started dripping and I was able to drink it. Secondly, my brother's peanut butter cup pie blizzard had a hair in it. I was unsatisfied and would not recommend this location. Picture is within 30 seconds of ordering
