Really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and attentive despite the fact that the restaurant was packed (St. Patrick's day). I really like the layout of the restaurant too, lots of sunlight and a sort of communal feel with everything being open. The music selection was nice and I'm impressed by the fact that despite being so open and busy, I could still hear the music and the person I was with just fine. The menu is decent, but I think it would be better if it were more coherent and centered around one type of cuisine. The prices are kinda high for what you get, the quality isn't really fine dining and the portions aren't great, but I still enjoyed what I ate nonetheless. Where they really shine is their beer selection. Their tag line "Where everything is on tap" rings true. I got their domestic sampler and loved it both for the well curated selection and the very, very good price. They also get bonus points for personally sending out thank you cards with a coupon when you sign up to their e-news letter, such a nice little extra touch!

This place is awesome! If you go as just a couple I totally recommend sitting at the bar. They have over 100 beers on tap, and the bartenders can help you find the one you like by giving samples. Many of my lady friends don't like beer, but they have always been surprised by what they could find here. Food is good too. Thumbs up.

Nice selection and quality of beers as well as food. Unfortunately however, we had decided to book our annual team event here of over 45 persons. Although calling several times to confirm and doing so weeks in advance, they mistakenly booked half of our area to another group, forcing us to have to split the party up in different sections of the restaurant. Inevitably of course, we did not stay half as long as we normally would have (-$...). Frivolously, the other group that had been double booked in our area didn't show up either - at least not by the time most of us had left.... Prices are a bit steep too, even for the area. Needless to say, our next event will have to be reserved elsewhere unfortunately.

Okay first off- this place doesn't give you full pints! It says it in really tiny print at the bottom of the menu but if you ask your server for a pint they will bring you one of their deceptive glasses and charge you about $7.50 for it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, and the place isn't too noisy even when it's full. The patio is decent in the summer but it catches a lot of wind from the canal so maybe go inside if it's a particularly windy day. Their beer selection is great and they do offer a lot of seasonal beers from local breweries. The food is decent- some dishes are better than others but generally it's okay. If you're booking ahead be sure to mention if anyone in your party has issues with stairs because there is an upstairs overflow for busy nights and the bathroom is on the main floor. Finally, the service is generally good- there's a lot of staff here so they do have their off nights. I'd recommend it as a great place for watching a hockey game, and for grabbing an after-work beer.

I have been here many times and everything has been good. However, one menu items stands out and it is the tuna sandwich of all things. Not no ordinary tuna salad, no this is a seared piece of tuna on some wonderful bread. Every time I see this place I want to stop in for this sandwich. Oh, and there's a bunch of craft beer on tap so that's always good. Just don't come in and order a Coors light!
