Monk Café

I’m from the United States, and this was the BEST burger and potato wedges I have ever had. Like genuinely I audibly gasped - whoever made that burger you deserve to win the lottery. Not to mention, it’s open late so you can study for as long as you need or hang out. The staff was SO kind and friendly. If I lived here, I would be there everyday. This business a MUST-STOP.

Most chill people have met. The food was great. My highlight was the thick juicy bacon that comes with the eggs and potatoes. The potatoes are well seasoned too. Would recommend.

April 2024: friendly, efficient service. Loved my espresso martini comes with cream liqueur, orange flower cocktail was strong, the popcorn mushrooms weren't really for me, but my friend enjoyed them. The shrimp arancini hit the spot.nMarch 2024: had the smoked salmon sandwich, was pretty good, just wish they had a bagel option. The fried chicken is kinda more schnitzel style, it was good. Funky coffee with choco rum and the mimosa were nice. Service was pleasant and efficient. Wish they offered their mushrooms as an optional side.nDecember 2023: Great decor, friendly efficient service. Pumpkin spice sour was a pretty good mix of fall spices and whiskey.

Our favourite Cafe! Varied brunch menu, great coffee and friendly service. We brought our dog on the terrasse, and there is a park just across the road. Electric car charging right outside with high capacity chargers a short walk away.
