One of the oldest bars in the area, always busy, nice vibes. It has a big outdoor terrace very popular in summer days, and a sports bar with TVs upstairs. Being popular and crowded means longer wait time for seats and orders. Good selection of food and drinks.
We stayed at the terrasse, that was beautifully decorated and clean. The service was good , the waitresses are attentive. We ordered only the samosa and shepherd pie, both good , especially the pie, stuffed with lamb instead of grounded meat. The samosa comea with cheekpees. My critics go to the menu, cause they dont have variety . I also missed originality. But I notice that inside is very beautiful and fancy, maybe the experience would be better .
Great portions for fish and chips! Mojito was great as well. Though I didn’t like soup of the day. Overall great ambiance and nice food.
Definitely one of the best pubs in Montreal. Great beers, even better whiskey selection and amazing food. Never disappoints.nnGreat atmosphere, service and location.
Good British posh pub vibes !nit serves the classic pub comforting food but expensivenI tried the bangers and mash with gravynIt was tasteful and fillingnThe fish&chips was good, crispy batter and chips.nThe sticky toffee pudding was a large warm and sweet cake, wish I had a bigger piece of ice cream on top to go with it.nGreat choice of draft beer too
