Amazing ambiance! We ordered fried calamari for starter, New York Strip and Short Ribs steak for main course.nFried calamari was delicious, and I loved the mouthwatering beef short ribs. New York strip was juicy and tasty but I found Short Ribs more tender and the seasoning was absolutely amazing!nOur waiter was very friendly and nice. I liked the music too although it was a bit loudnHighly recommend this place!

It's the perfect spot for a night out with friends, where you can dress up and enjoy the ambiance.nnThey even offer a tasty vegan option, which was surprisingly delicious. And let's not forget about the drinks; they're fantastic too!nnThe food portions are generous, and while the price range varies depending on your order, it typically falls between $25 to $100. I went to Grinder during Valentine's Day weekend and was quite pleased with my experience. The first thing to notice was the atmosphere that had an open bar in the center, booths to my right, and tables to my left, all under candlelight. Another thing was the music. It was quite loud for me, and I couldn't really hear my partner without having to lean in closer. I wonder if that was done on purpose.nnThe service was amazing. Our server took care of us the entire night and even had the chefs apologize when our appetizer came late. I felt very taken care of, and I felt that they really cared about our experience.nnThe food was phenomenal. We got so many things, including the french onion soup, the salmon tartare, the oysters, and the New York strip with the seasonal vegetables. Every dish was made with care and was absolutely delicious. The sauces that came with the steak brought so much more to the experience, I'm so thankful that they had that.nnOverall, I'd give it a 9/10, the only point off being how loud the music was. Otherwise, I'd love to go again sometime!
By far one of the best filet mignons I’ve ever had. The staff are all great and very friendly there. If you get there before 6-7 it’s more quiet but after 7 it does get quite busy and quite loud on the weekends. Honestly if you’re looking for a place that can cook up some solid steak this is your spot. I highly recommend the side creamy/cheesy mash potatoes. Wow!
An awesome restaurant with excellent customer service ! We made last minute reservations and the staff was super welcoming and kind. We ordered French red wine which was incredible followed by fried calamari for appetizers. For the meal, I had the 1/2 chicken leg while my partner had Bavette de Boeuf and it was so tasty ! We savoured each bite : The best part was definitely the dessert as we had the pudding chomeur and it’s beyond perfection! Highly recommend the food and the restaurant! Located in the trendy Griffintown neighborhood it is a place to bring your friends and enjoy the hospitality of an incredible staff at Le Grinder : A 11/10 culinary experience for us :
