Greenspot Restaurant is a true gem with a rich history dating back to 1947. This iconic spot has been serving delicious comfort food for generations, and it never disappoints. I ordered the smoked meat omelette and chicken brochettes, and both were exceptional. The omelette was perfectly prepared, loaded with flavorful smoked meat, while the chicken brochettes were juicy and perfectly seasoned. The nostalgic charm of the restaurant, combined with its decades of culinary tradition, makes it a must-visit for anyone craving a classic, satisfying meal. A timeless Montreal treasure!
Classic Québécois diner serving wonderful poutine 27 varieties and smoked meat sandwiches among other classic diner eats. The Classique is a perfect poutine with dark rich gravy and perfectly squeaky cheese curds. Best gravy in town. I would recommend the medium smoked meat sandwich also. A must visit when in Montréal.
Absolutely love their pouting, pizzas and breakfasts Love the people who work there and love the old school vibes in the place. Used to only order online. Now I'm living closer so I can have it fresher than delivery ^_^
Super cool and old-school, I would say this is the best poutine in Montreal. I highly recommend the St. Henry Witch, which comes with pieces of steak. One important thing that caught my eye is that their fries are not soggy and are real fries, not the pre-made ones.
Went in for a poutine, got poutine, I had no prior experience on it so I guess it was good and perfect but just not for me. Service was great, the atmosphere was really an authentic diner experience so highly recommend if you like that. Nathans hotdogs looked delicious and one member of our group spoke highly of them. Wine/beer selection was a bit small but I guess they arent the main attraction there.
