I recently had a negative customer service experience at my local Metro store. I posted a review with a description of the situation, as well as calling Metro head office to make them aware. The next day I received a call from Cassandra from the Customer Care Dept. who apologize as well the manager of the store. Because of the prompt response to my complaint, I will now continue to be a loyal shopper ! Thank you Metro

the customer service at the metro store is very excellent and the stuff are very helpful at the store and if you can't find something in the store , the stuff will going to find it for you and there produce always fresh and plus like the seafood department and the bakery / deli department / meat department too and the stuff are very nice and friendly. I have good excellent inside the metro store at 425 Bloor street west , and the department manager are very good with the customers and store manager / Assistance manager too. I always shop at this location at metro store and have good price and student discount its 10% discount for the student who shop on Tuesday and Wednesday its best time to shop at metro because its student discount 10% and you saved money on Tuesday and Wednesday !!!! but I like smoked salmon in the seafood department and the fish always fresh. thank you the stuff for metro grocery store.

I has lost a personal cheque last Thursday Jan 12 which was found at Metro on Rideau Ottawa. I called the store the next day. They had the cheque. I went to pick it up 3 days later on Tuesday Jan 17 and they could not find it but had seen it on Monday Jan 16. I finally spoke to the manager Cindy on Thursday Jan 19 and was told that it must have been ripped up and thrown out since no one called to reclaim it. I sarcastically thanked her for throwing out the cheque after only four days of having found it and the lack of communication between the staff. I'm very disappointed with their service and her attitude. Also I noticed the prices at Metro are more pricey than Loblaws for example. Caroll

I am signing off as a Metro customer. Beer is dominating everything at the Great Lakes Drive location in Brampton. Today was the last straw. At a kiosk right by the check-outs free beer samples are being offered. A young man with a baby sitting in the cart takes his sample, sips it and promptly offers some to the baby, to the presenter's laughter. Although the beer never actually touched the baby's lips, that is enough for me. There are still a few of us left out here in the real world who do not appreciate alcohol dominating our shopping experience. I'm sure you'll make far more profit from beer sales than you ever get from me. Good-bye!!
