Food Basics

A grocery store in the same level as No Frills and FreshCo but the twist here is they have a lot of home prepared or maybe store brand home quality frozen foods. Even tho i did not buy the less known or store brand produce but i was so curious to do so. Maybe next time.

Good variety of products, staff so far always has been a great help, never had a problem, the only thing I would change is that they don't have a price match for the products, some other companies have this policy and I'm not referring to Walmart that is known for this. Apart from that, quality, prices and variety are very good.

Food Basics is basic, nothing out of ordinary, but you can always count on fresh veggies, nice frozen section and friendly staff.

A very popular Food Basics since it's very accessible. Right on Dundas and very close to the 427 exit. Vegetables and fruits tend to be a hit or miss. Best time to visit is early morning. The canned and packaged food section is well organized and labeled

I don't find it very clean at all. A few of the sales items were not on the shelves in the meat department. All the vegetables against the wall was bare. This store needs a good scrubbing.
