PAT Supermarket

The go-to for Korean and Asian groceries outside of going to Chinatown. A decent selection but a smaller fresh produce section than I've seen at other locations. Plenty of kimchi and specific Korean cuisine ingredients. Good quality Japanese supplies and cook ware. Signage for the 5 items or less cash is totally not English but they'll sort you out. Very large frozen foods section with other cooked foods and vendors outside the cash checkout. Parking is available, pricing is a higher price point.

I was in town visiting my daughter and I decided to stop by as there are no Korean grocery stores around me and this place did not disappoint. I'm a huge fan of Korean food and follow the YouTuber Maangchi and her awesome homemade Korean food. I was looking everywhere for the clear corn syrup, radish, enoki mushroom, and large green onion. Picked up a few treats for the family. Will definitely go back. Very clean store and reasonably priced!

Authentic Korean supermarket with a wonderful selection of hard to get Korean food and goods. Fantastic meat department with lots of shabu-shabu options. Huge aisle of Ramen. Jam-like tea, kimchi, gochujang, candies, rice-cakes, socks, tableware, cookware, ajumma hats and slippers. This place is practically a vacation.

I really liked this place. Never have I seen so much Chinese/ Japanese food and ingredients. It was actually really delightful. The chilled fish looked extremely fresh too. If you walk further to the left, you'll see this mini food court with some really delicious hot meal. It's like the Asian version of McDonald's, except healthier and with more selection.

If you’re craving for korean delicacies, this supermarket is the one your looking for. They have ready made korean food as well.

*** Update July 23rd 2021*** My wife and I come every now and then for groceries and specialty Korean odds and ends. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I just cannot stop my wife from dropping $$$ at ARITAUM Korean Beauty Store located inside the market. ======================================================= Update Feb 6th 2021: This time I decided to get the Korean Dessert from the guy at the stall near the cashier area. BUNGEOPPANG KOREAN FISH SHAPED PASTRY cakes are so delicious. I got the red bean and the custard versions. Be warned, they are highly addictive !!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My wife and I have been coming here for years before their renovations began. I prefer this Korean market over the Galleria Supermarket on the other side of Dundas in Oakville. The prices are in line with other Asian markets and the help from the cashiers and staff have been excellent over the years. I do miss the young gentleman who used to run the Sushi place inside the market before the renovation. Unfortunately he never did return after the renovation / makeover. The prepared foods are good and it is better than I expected from a supermarket scene really. A+ experience all the time.

Great medium sized Korean supermarket with food court, for most Asian grocery needs. There's a lot packed into this store so it's a little cramped, but at least a lot of choice. Fresh meat and fish counter too. Prices are higher than discount grocery stores, but on par with premium grocery chains, but really, you'll be going here for the unique selection Asian selection. Food court is the best part though with Korean fried chicken, corn dogs and taiyaki. TIP: Can't enter in directly from Dundas one way but need to come in off of Grenville/Cliff Rd.

Large varieties of selection of groceries from Korean, Japanese, and Chinese selection. Food court food is good, only issue is that you need to order from the grocery cashier to place an order. Would be nice to have a self serve POS machine to order and payment.

Big variety of korean groceries, the store is very clean and nicely organized. It doesn't have that funky smell unlike other stores. Not everyone speaks english, but they always try to help/get help who speks english better. The security guard at the door is also very kind. Good job!

I shopped in Pat yesterday and bought a bucket of cheese ball. But I open it today I got shocked! The jar was not sealed as it showed on picture, and the weirdest thing is the seal paper was on the reverse side, and the seal paper is dirty! So it means someone had opened it before I buy! As now is pandemic time, I truly worried about who opened the jar and what could actually be in it! I always go to Pat to buy Korean ingredients and snack and never see this kind of thing happened before! It is truly terrible! ——— After I wrote this review and there is a customer service reply me to contact their email. So I contacted and they said they can give me a refund in my next visit to their store. So I went back three days later and I can’t believe what I experienced! Pat supermarket customer service counter is close. The only one cashier refused to do any refund and ask me to go! I tried to talked to her to read the email that said I can get a refund, but she refuse to read and tell me to go!!! This is way too ridiculous!!! That’s Pat supermarket service! I tried to find a manager I can speak to but the big store don’t have any staff except one cashier! How terrible is that! I will never go to this terrible store again and tell all my friends not to go! And I’ll write about this terrible experience on all social platforms to let people know how terrible is Pat supermarket! I don’t need the dam cheese ball so I left on their customer service desk, probably they will sell to other customer the disgusting thing!
