Panchvati Supermarket Mississauga

This branch was not in par with its other branch in scarborough. The products were limited, many expired some had no dates and some even opened up. There were sparrows flying in from one end of the store, with food and snacks openly displayed. Felt let down by this store, hope the management makes the required changes to maintain hygiene and food safety protocol.

**Beware** to check expiry before your purchase. Encountered few times that the Indian grocery store sells expired products. They know the demand would always be there even though the standards are not followed. As attached, the product is on shelve even after 2 months of expiry.

Very good store with everything available for an Indian kitchen at a good quality. Gets a little crowded at peak hours, the store needs to get reorganised a bit to utilise space properly. You can find almost all kinds of vegetables.even exotic indian veggies like banana flower, colocasia leaves, etc.

One of the best place in Mississauga for Indian grocery. They have fresh fruits and vegetables. Price if fair, with wast varieties of products. I was happy to receive free samples of Tomato Sev and Cheese Sev. I did try all the products of hunger’s choice, they are so yummy and delicious just like the name. If you want spicy Namkeen then you can try Bikaneri Bhujia and Ratlami sev.

Their homemade Snacks like samosa, tikki etc is so awful. Not sure who prepares such distasteful snacks. They don’t have much vegetable collections and whatever available are not of good quality. Vegetable prices are very high compared to quality. I would never recommend!!

Please do watch when the girl punches in your products and note the price you have seen before. A little disappointed with our desi stores trend when pricing and packaging. Used to blindly buy here but not anymore after what I experienced! Def has a bigvariety of Indian groceries and is neatly kept.

Love the fact that we can buy cheeku fruit from here! Usually have good stuff with at least few months expiry unlike some other Indian stores.

Good clean store. Well lit and well organized. There is a section for snack items as well. Overall a very good Indian grocery store.

It’s a decent Panchvati. Great selection of Indian groceries. Has even nostalgic candy selection like Swad and Kismi Bars. The veggies are more affordable than walmarts and sobey’s.

Actually a brilliant place especially in comparison with other Indian sub-continent shops like Dundas Vegetables which doesn't hold a candle when it comes to Panchavati aka Patel Brothers. You'll pretty much find everything you need and the staff are also friendly enough, way better than Walmart staff tbvh. Vegetables are EXTREMELY fresh. Folks who frequently shop there say Thursday evenings see new vegetable stocks. Also pulses, dal, rice are much better in quality here than Dundas. We saw insects in Dundas dal, a month after purchase. Prices are high however and this is the only disappointing aspect of the store. Here I am, trying to save money and here's the store, charging me more... Ultimately, to avoid Penny-wise and Pound foolish thinking is better to go with it but if one can find similar vegetables in Walmart of elsewhere, go for it!
