An excellent local store for great food. The selection is terrific. The produce is always first rate and I love the flowers. The claim to fame is their meats which are outstanding. The selection of cold salads is delightful. They also have a very good selection of Bruno’s own sauces which are very tasty.
I have finally decided “no more supporting Bruno’s on Dundas, Etobicoke”. I live very close by and all I can say is that it is very convenient, they are always open. That’s where it ends!nThe prices change like the weather - the same product can go up a dollar at a time. Example: a frozen pizza Piano Piano brand is $16.99 and just a km away at Summerhill Market it is $9.99, WHAT?nThe products are not always fresh, you can’t rely on products to be there, they come and go. The store is not always clean, and the service is APPAULING! There is none! They should be embarrassed to have seventeen year old girls who have no sense of customer service, no manners and no product knowledge representing the Bruno’s brand. Don’t dare ask a question because they don’t know anything about the store or the products. I understand they offer inexpensive labour - but let me tell you, you get what you pay for. If you want to attract elite and loyal customers and offer them overpriced products, at least give them an atmosphere where staff don’t sit on the counter, where they are not on their phones, but where they look you in the eye, say hello, thank you and maybe a “have a nice day” now and then!.nIt’s a direct reflection of management, they mustn't care because they obviously do not train the staff.nThis store does not deserve to stay in business when a little longer walk or short drive away, can offer the same or similar products for less money and at least be acknowledged as a customer.nBye bye Bruno’s!
Decent local grocer, with surprising gaps. E.g., no chicken backs / bones at the butcher counter. No decent organic milk. No decent burger buns from local bakers. Still a go to place.
This place needs to better train there employees especially behind the deli section on service and hygiene. Also check expiration dates!! This place just keeps getting worse a marinated chicken Breast 4 days out of expiration My sister bought a spread 2 weeks ago went out of date in 2020!!!! And just yesterday prepared salad 2 Days out of date!!! This place is turning into a Russian Roulette chance of getting sick. Xmas Dinner from Sannelis this year. Terrible what's happened to Bruno's.
A great many products, butcher, deli and they sell Vicenza's Crustoli.
