Metro Côte-des-Neiges

Story

Côte-des-Neiges station is a Montreal Metro station in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Blue Line. It is located in the Côte-des-Neiges area of the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. It opened in 1988.OverviewIt is a normal side platform station built in tunnel. A ticket hall, also in tunnel, diverges to two entrances, one on each side of Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges. The western entrance is housed in an imposing building containing a stained glass window by Claude Bettinger, while the eastern one is integrated into another building and includes a suite of sculptures by Bernard Chaudron. A second stained-glass mural by Bettinger is found in the transept leading to the platforms.Origin of nameCôte-des-Neiges station takes its name from the road on which it lies: Côte-des-Neiges Road.Côte-des-Neiges Road takes its name from the settlement originally on this location, the Village of Côte-des-Neiges, which was created in 1862, and annexed by Montreal in two parts in 1908 and 1910.The name for the area, Côte de Notre-Dame des Neiges (Our Lady of the Snows Hill), dates from the early 18th century. The name lives on in the church and the school in the centre of the former village.

Of all the Metro grocery stores I’ve been to, this one is the worst! Dirty aisles and staff who clearly don’t want to be there! The only staff member who was helpful to me was a gentleman in the fish section. Also I was looking for hamburger buns when I noticed a bag of hotdog buns so moldy I gagged!
Store looks good and packed .it Was taken on 8th.
Very straightforward shopping experience. The isles are decent. The front entrance and exit is always messy looking because they need to renovate. The staff is kind and will help if they aren’t busy restocking. Most times, you need to bag your own groceries. I like that they are open during late hours. They run low on stock often because they have a high volume of traffic.
Probably one of the worst Metros in Montreal. They never have stock. Half the shelves are empty. Though the staff can be helpful, there’s not much they can do since there’s not enough stock. It’s super annoying to get into the parking lot if you’re driving from the other side of the street. You basically have to do a huge circle to get on the other side. The parking lot itself is so small and there’s almost no space between car spaces.
24/7 supermarket filles wish all you need and a lot more checkout for self-service payment are very useful and I The location is nearly 2 min walk from côté des neiges station and. There is bus stop almost in front of the door in extra there is right next to it a Pharmaprix also 24/7 in case you need anything I like the way they actually complete each other when I go for grosseurs ans also to get medication or grab a snack that I could buy also at the Pharmaprix
Very dirty and disorganized grocery store. Freezer section for xmas cakes was upside down the cakes were packed on top of each-other boxes half broken and cakes smashed up. A lot of products are missing most of the time. Got milk a fee times and is spoiled most of the time.
Hi A 24 hour supermarket came useful the other night . It location not far from downtown is easy access at night . They carry all the varieties of other stores since it's under Metro banner . They have a nice bakery department Cheers Mike
On May 27, 2022, I bought pork meat packaged the same day. There was a red label on the meat packages stating SPECIAL; meaning the price was a good discount 50% less than the regular price. When I got home, I found out why it had been on sale. The meat had a clear, unmistakable and strong odor of meat that's beginning to turn putride. Instead of going back to the store to return it for a refund $11.32, at my time and expenses, I decided to simply throw it away. Never again, I'll set foot in that grocery store, where I've been a regular customer for at least 17 years. It was convenient, no more. In recent times, the staff changed a lot; and the owner bought automated cashier machines to replace some of the staff that's been working there for decades. Some of them clearly lost their jobs, so that the owner could amass more wealth.
Sadly, I’ve been shopping here 14 years—when I asked if they had a Jewish good section the young attendant sent me “down the aisle, to the right”. When I arrived I found I was in the bagel section. No Matzo, no wheat germ, and a bad section of fish. The Snowdon Metro is so much bigger and better, and yes, they have Matzo.
I recently bought milk from this store. Turned out to be expired over 7 days... I am in part responsable for not checking the date, but the store should not sell such sensitive products way after the expiry date. Without realizing the problem, I used several other ingredients for cooking with the milk, which i now have to through as a consequence. Wasted time and money, unacceptable policy that risks customer health from the store. Very disappointing.
