Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location with parking. Little pricey though.

I go here to get cheese, and bread at better prices than the metro closer by. The layout is solid, I always understand where everything is, and the veggie selection is good. The customer service doesn't seam great, but I never need it, so that doesn't matter to me.

Small grocery store but very convenient location, nice employees and fresh produce. On the pricier side but there are often interesting specials and discounts.

Like other posters say you have to be very careful in this store. A few times I had to get them to give me the fifty percent off. Today I was going to get points on a drink they didn’t have. I went to the other provigo on Sherbrooke and the experience was ten times better. The drinks were there, I got the points; I redeemed my points. The store on Monkland is designed so people have much less space especially around the tills and customer service area and you feel pushed all the time and then that is when they forget to give you the fifty percent off. Another strange thing at the Monkland store the clerk asked me if I would like to have the balance on gift card written down then proceeds to write it on the gift card not on the receipt. And the “customer service” person made a comment about some of the points will be deleted as if I was returning something that had points; which was the whole point. Another time I asked for a bag, the one clerk walked away another clerk came over and said it was illegal to give away free bags; I never asked for a free bag; I gave him the dime; and he bagged my groceries then practically tossed them at me. Like other posters I go there out of convenience and am often disappointed at either them not having what I was hoping to get, the price seems inflated or by the demeaning customer service and language barrier.
