Maxi Montréal is a great place to shop always clean, well-organized, and stocked with a wide variety of products at excellent prices. I appreciate how easy it is to find everything, and the quality of the fresh items is consistently good. The staff is helpful and the overall shopping experience is smooth and convenient. One of the best grocery options in the city for value and selection
Went back there today against my better judgment, after years following multiple negative experiences with their staff. They seem to take out their anger and frustration on customers. Owner and director act like uneducated fools. Do better! What a disgrace to the Loblaws brand. If you don’t live in the neighborhood, drive further. Don’t stop there. Ugh…
2024 January 3nThis superstore has groceries, meat, produce, dairy, frozen foods, clothing, electronics, toys, baby, beauty products and much more.nSale prices can be quite good.nWhile many checkout lanes, there still are long lines to checkout.nLots of free parking.
Very inconvenient if you wish to get back the deposit on your water bottles/soda. They make all these rules and shut off the can machines two hours before closing even if someone is in the middle of cashing in. They are supposed to accept any plastic or metal ready to consume beverage container of 200ml-2L but they don't even honor the law. Instead they removed the cardboard boxes that they used to collect the ones that the machines don't accept. They need to properly update their machines or have someone help customers by collecting the ones that malfunction. I think the best is to throw all bottles in the garbage because they don't make recycling easy. By reducing the hours they force customers to carry around their bottles back and forth for nothing wasting everyone's time. And when I go any other time there are long lines of homeless men with 5 huge garbage bags of bottles. They should have an express machine for those who have a modest amount. This place has gone to the dogs.
Very very long lines at the cashier and it was only 4 from 10 self checkout machines working everyone was screaming on the staff to bring more cashiers but nothing helped. But it was a lot of nice stuff that's why I'm giving 2 stars
