I've shopped at this store since 1989, so yeah it's good. The character of the shop hasn't changed at all! The staff are super down to earth so nice change from most places. The prices are good too.
Store has very basic things, and fresh produce selection can be iffy at times. Price is alright and the store is in a fairly good location in NDG.
Le Marché Esposito is a family-owned grocery store in NDG on Sherbrooke. It is always bustling but patrons are obliged to sanitise their hands and wear masks. I needed eggs and was also looking for meringue powder. The cashier left her post twice to look on my behalf, in addition to asking at a neighbouring caisse. Unfortunately, none was found but the cashier's genuine kindness and helpfulness was better than any biscuit decoratation. I will be happy to return. Thank you Le Marché Esposito!
Good place to shop. You can often find a lot of items not seen in other grocery stores. Conveniently located in NDG.
Bad customer service and poor quality control ruined it. Bought bagels that turned out to be mouldy with no date on them. I figured it was just a mistake. Went back again and bought some more bagels, mouldy again. Manager who was working said there was nothing she could do besides a refund. Makes me wonder where else they could be cutting corners. I liked the proximity, but I'll stick with Provigo from now on.
Very nice and cute store. Great deals on cheeses and a great variety of weird meat cuts
Average size grocery store. High quality fruits and vegetables. Standard prices. Friendly staff.
Update: Quality of the meat has reduced, in my opinion. This is the Ultimate place to shop for meat and fresh produce; the prices and quality are great.
Lol anyone who gave them 5 stars must have crazy low expectations or they are the nicest people because what I see in there is what I would see literally in Nova Scotia small town with population of 1000 people which is just sad. C'est dommage. The prices are all over-priced you should check out PA supermarché MTL because you would get better quality of food and cheaper affordable price. I have already passed by couple products with literal mold in them. The whole store smells a bit like spoiled milk. The bread that's made in different bakery don't have expiration date which is illegal to sell them to customers. Feels like the management is really messed up here and sooner or later they may go bankrupt. They probably have already broken several food regulation or just barely passed them. But hey, the people working here are super nice. Nothing to do with people, just literally what I went inside and saw.
Horrible customer experience there. Not the first time, going on for a long time, but today was the last time for me. Long COVID left me with motricity issues, so having a supermarket just one block away from home is a blessing. Unfortunately, I will now just keep it for absolute emergency, and prefer to walk to the Provigo on Monkland, even if the round trip takes me 1 hour. They voluntary cheat on prices trying to sell ground pork at organic ground beef price, and don't correct the mistake even though you reported the problem to them, saw this going on for days after I talked to the manager about it, they "forget" to label products or put wrong labels in front of it to make you think you make a good deal. They re-package almost expired meat with a new expiration date.... Young employees are sweet and helpful, but they never last. Senior staff is horrid. Especially this one lady at deli who ALWAYS walk away when you approach the counter, don't put gloves on, alway trying to upsell you ask 100g ? you'll get 150. 200 ? you get 300... etc And when you tell the manager about it, she's not even trying to pretend listening to you. They don't care about customers, they lose them. They obviously don't take care of their young employees, they lose them. No surprises here. Esposito, you suck ! No more money from me from now on.
