Wonderful service! Delicious food. I was worried based on other ratings, but I was so pleasantly surprised. The food was great, and the service was outstanding. Jenna was delightful! She made great recommendations and made our meal fun! The chef came out to make sure our meal was wonderful. That was a nice touch that I haven’t seen since before the pandemic. Bang Bang shrimp was wonderful!
Brought my daughter here and had and amazing meal. The food was fantastic and the service was extremely friendly and welcoming.
My daughter and I were staying at the Inn and decided to check out HAPPY HOUR. We asked if they served blend drinks. They did not but the bartender was up for the challenge. She created us a wonderful drink. We also tried the bang bang strimp as an appetizer. We would definitely be stay at the Monte Carlo Inn and enjoying a drink or two at Menaggio.
What burger? I ordered the hamburger from this place and holy was it bad. First let's talk about the garnish, 2 tiny slices from a Roma tomato? Are you kidding? Is this a slider or a burger? What a disgrace. The lettuce looked discolored to put it lightly. It had a yellowish hue; but God those pickles were awful, it tastled so salty. Almost like it was store bought. Next let's talk about the burger. The floppy piece of meat that was clearly a frozen burger patty that I could've bought at nofrills down the street for the price of the burger! AND I COULDVE BOUGHT more with the $18 bucks that I wasted. Fire this chef, you could probably get better skill by hiring a McDonald's employee than the chef who runs this place. Now let's talk dessert. The only saving grace from the dessert is how it looks. Literally it's a squiggle of Carmel sauce on the plate and a squiggle of Chocolate sauce on top. Both squiggle flavors I chose BUT THE FRUIT ON TOP OF IT WAS MOLDY. If they served me moldy fruit what are the chances that the rest of the food here is safe I felt sick seeing this. But the cake; For $10 i expect to see a decent cheesecake, not some clearly frozen costco cakeone I could easily buy for about $15. Best part, I'd get an entire cake with that $15 not just a tiny slice... this was a deplorable meal. @Raje Ge was right go across the street for better food buying pebbles was more worth it than buying this food.
Great hotel restaurant, amazing staff, fantastic food. Feels like family owned with Jenna managing the front of house and Randy the chef coming out to check on the food. Great experience.
Amazing. Spent 5 days at the hotel and ate here twice. Food was good. Staff was amazing. Nurine, Alfia, Jenna and Jayda were amazing, made my day each night.
everything tasted frozen, their fish? Frozen, don't even ask me about their spring rolls. You can tell their frozen, the insides are soo mushy. If you don't want to make your own appetizers, why bother putting them on the menu?
"I was a resident at the Monte Carlo inn about a month ago, I was feeling hungry so I decided to get something to eat. I considered eating in their in house restaurant however, as I walked past I noticed that their kitchen was empty and the only guy who looked like someone who worked in the kitchen; was drinking in the restaurant AT THE BAR. never have I ever seen such unprofessionalism. I expected to see more professionalism from those working in the hotel more so from Canada. I didn't feel safe eating food prepared by someone who was under the influence so I decided to find some food down the road from the hotel. "
Very nice. Anniversary dinner with my wife Lisa. The service and food was great and Jenna was awesome.
If I ever wanted to eat over cooked noodles I would've gotten soup noodles from the plaza across the street way better than this…
